how did you acquire soo much wood?

A lot of it was from my apartment complex dumpster. There was this area in front of the dumpster that people would just put furniture they wanted to get rid of and I would take it and break it down into usable pieces. some of the pieces people would throw out I actually cleaned up and are now in our house. The rest of it is pallet wood, reclaimed wood, and wood people have given me.
