I'm 43 and pretty much gave up on today's music but the first time I heard that song was on Saturday Night Live and I instantly fell in love with it (probably because its 80's vibe since I'm gen-X). It made such an impact on me that I forced my friend to check it out the next day. The other millenial song that I instantly fell in love with (also first heard on SNL) was Take Me To Church by Hozier. That's one you should definitely check out also.

He's in the color red, anger. She's in green, choosing life, moving on. Later she's out of the picture. When he started singing he spoke of being addicted to a type of sadness, always looking for the end. He seems disconnected once the song moves further into the story. She tries talking to him with her side and he won't listen to her. He won't look at her. Breaking up is hard and usually two sided. Incredible music, Incredible art, incredible storytelling, incredible voices.
