I love painting realistic scenery with gouache but I didn't really have patience. So I learned digital painting and stick to it for years. Now I'm entrepreneur but also freelance illustrator for game. Suddenly I miss painting traditionally cause I'm losing a joy in art lately. I feel like I'm painting to make people satisfied not for my self and painting digitally make less effort, good, but I don't find it relaxing like I used to. Then I found your video! See how you're painting, I want to feel that joy again ❤ I ordered a set of gouache and new brushes today! Can't wait!

Really really appreciate your tips to painting grass! Never thought of getting the shape of the area and shadows in first since when working pencil the say start light. It is a different concept layering something you should avoid trying to correct or is not simple to fix mistakes. Thanks so much! 🤗❤️👍🏾💯

omg finally you know how i feel, making thin strokes with miya himi. it’s quite difficult cause there seems like no in between. it’s either too thick or too runny. resulting in uneven strokes, for me :(
@JessChungArt4 жыл бұрын
it was a bit of a struggle haha but after a while i started to get a bit more used to it. but i definitely prefer using my art spectrum/winsor and newton gouache for doing grass strokes
@ditadit95484 жыл бұрын
@@JessChungArt i should tru winsor newton then. does it last a long time? cause i have limited budget 🙈 thank you jess
@JessChungArt4 жыл бұрын
@@ditadit9548 yess even though the tubes are small they last a really long time so i highly recommend investing in them. you could even just try the primaries, and then get a white gouache in a different/inexpensive brand since white is used up quickly

@@JessChungArt will try this. thank you jess. i hope you don’t mind me recreating all your paintings 🙈 cause for me, they’re the best to begin in learning gouache
