Love the tree studies! Maybe you can do food studies, I didn’t see you do that so I think it can be interesting and a good way to experiment with new things.

Hello!! I need your help! If you had to choose the “perfect” sketchbook for gouache painting, which would you pick? Also, If you had to pick a size, what size it would be? I do like the idea of this sketchbook for 4 paintings but I also like the size of your paintings (when you do just one in a go). Finally it would be lovely to be able to get them of the sketchbook so: would you recommend 2 separate ones? One for practicing and an other one for single paintings (that you would like to frame for example) Hope you can help me, I love your work 💕

@SUNNY oh!! Thank you so much 🥰

Yep I paint on separate sheets of watercolour paper for paintings I want to sell or frame! I usually like to get a large A3 size watercolour pad and cut them into smaller A5 sizes. As for a sketchbook, there are so many to choose from and I usually just go for one that is accessible for me to purchase. I have enjoyed using all the ones I've tried (Moleskine, Etchr, Hahnemuhle etc.) For size you might want to consider whether you plan to only paint at home or if you plan to bring it outside, in which case you might want a smaller one (like A6 or A5). Hope this helps :)

Do you wait for each layer to dry before adding another layer? I'm a beginner and your videos are 👩🍳😚👌
@JessChungArt Жыл бұрын
Yes I do let it dry between layers though this usually happens pretty quickly with gouache

I always love your videos 🥰 Please, What do you use to light the place where you shoot? Is it natural light or do you have a specific lamp for it? Thank you very much!

Thank you! I just use natural lighting. My desk is in front of a large window :)
