In this video I will teach you techniques to create an outstanding blurry effect on the background of your paintings, emphasizing depth and atmospheric perspective in your illustrations with Gouache and Airbrush.

The airbrush is really cool because it adds a subtle touch to your background so your character can really stand out. Really love your art style. There is so much life in the facial expression. I'd love to see you do Treebeard. He's always been one of my favorite characters!

@@ShiloWaters yeah, the Airbrush really brings a new level to the game. I’ll definitely incorporate it into my next projects. Treebeard is an amazing character. Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll plan to do an illustration with him, Merry and Piooin together.

@@elflordsjourneys The Three Hunters! I’ll definitely plan an illustration with all of them together! Regarding drawing with no reference, try to practice Dynamic Sketching. It’s really good to understand forms and shapes to be able to create something out of your head.

Your artwork reminds me of the hobbit (animated) from 1977. It's beautiful and looks even better than the movie. Id love to see more. Frodo or samwise would be cool. Smegal is also a favorite but i don't know how much attraction he would bring to your channel 😂 as always, fantastic job

Wow. Great painting. Absolutely amazing work. You are so gifted. I bought an air brush awhile ago and haven't tried it yet. I'm not sure how much paint to water to use which is why it's taken me so long to try it out. I want to use it for backgrounds because my backgrounds always turn out so patchy.
