I know what you are trying to do but seriously I would gut the entire and simplify the piping mess. I have 8 zones with one manifold and 8 solenoid valves on the manifold. I use a Gould 1.5 hp irragator model pump and an 8 zone Orbit controller.

How do you install a hose bibb on the top of the pvc like that? At 7:10 i mean.

It's really easy. It just screws into a threaded PVC fitting. You buy all this stuff at Home Depot or ACE hardware.

Thanks for the info. I'm replacing my 1992 sprinkler pump with a Wayne 2hp, hopefully everything goes well. The Goulds is outside my price range right now unfortunately, i know they make the best pumps.

Cool, good luck. You shouldn't have any issues. It is pretty straight forward. Be careful with the power. Make sure you turn off the breaker.

Sorry to bother you but can you maybe point me in the right direction with a link to what i need, i was at home depot today coudln't figure it out. I have a 1/2 threaded bibb and i need to install it to the top of a 1 1/4 pvc..... btw i made the electrical connections to the pump and everything went well. I 'm gonna do the plumbing tomorrow but i can't figure this 1 out.
