People were so afraid of him, that they didn't dare push because he always won those. It was clear in 2020, when people started to figure Xyp out, that a huge part of his clutch potential was because people were scared of him. Of course that fear came from somewhere because he was so good, but i.e. the NAF 1v1 where NAF should just have pushed and gotten the kill. So many times before someone has pushed Xyp and gotten punished.

They're getting too old. dev1ce/Xyp9x are 27. gla1ve is 28. dupreeh is 30. Magisk is the youngest at 25 and even Magisk likely only has 2-3 good years left before he realistically has to transfer to an IGL/support role to stay relevant. gla1ve and dupreeh have families to tend to. dev1ce and Xyp9x are probably going to be looking to get their lives outside of the game in order (especially dev1ce). That leaves just Magisk left and maybe dev1ce since he has the talent to just keep going till he's 33 and retire with a 1.0 rating his last year. 2020 and 2021 were supposed to be Astralis's year. They couldn't survive Online so that was it for them.

back in the day level of skill was very low if you only watch these clips, simple mistakes gives ez clutches.. always wait 3-4 second before peek in fake plant/plant situations... imo skill of pro players in these days is much higher
