This video was great to find on KZbin. I can’t thank you enough for everything I’ve learned from you over the years. I took my first class with you when Wellburn’s still had their festival, then in Tucson, Knights Landing, and Casa Grande. Gourds were just part of life and part of our ways growing up but when I was introduced to them as fine art my relationship with them changed. Thank you for sharing so generously and for being such a patient and encouraging teacher.

I just found you and am captivated! Art is ever evolving. A craft is art, an art is a craft, who gets to decide and besides, 'a rose by another name would smell as sweet'...photography is now accepted as ART, or then again, just quirk or a hobby...Your expertise is evident...I am delighted to have found your channel...

Carving in gourds is a native tradition. Especially in Mexico and Central America they’re traditionally made into containers, instruments anything you can think of

Bonnie has been my inspiration since I first heard of her work many years ago. She has done so much to elevate the humble gourd to an accepted art form. I feel fortunate to have taken a couple of classes from her. Loved this video!

Bonnie, thank you so much for making this video. You are such a wonderful teacher and artist. A lot of my friends don't understand what gourd art is or how it happens and I can share this video with them. You're the best.

Just as any other artistic endeavor, it is about the artist's vision and execution rather than the medium.

Hello love! I have a large gourd that I grew and I’d like some ideas of what to create with it ❤❤ I’m sending pic and measurements. Was thinking of making a lamp shade. But as far as design I’m lost?!?!
