I caught a round tail chub that was around 3-4lbs a couple years ago in the lower verde river !! I took pics and released it and contacted a game warden and told him where it was so they could do further research on the area. THANK YOU AZGFD FOR ALL THAT YOU DO !!

This is super cool! Pertaining to Apache trout do you guys have anything else planned to mitigate brooks and browns from intervening with them?

I camp and fish in the East central region of Arizona. From at least 2020 until now 2024, I have never ever seen a wolf… but boy o boy! They sing me to sleep every night I’m there! Thank You Keep up the Good work

The BLM belongs to the cattlemen’s association. BLM clears horses and donkeys out because they compete for grazing with cattle. By the way, the cattlemen’s association pays pennies on the dollar for grazing on Federal land. Federal land that belongs to us, the tax paying citizens of this country.

The video is a good start for those who haven't used the hour tracking function, but note that it is outdated as the online form has changed (there is no longer a mileage or user group selection).

I mean no disrespect but I have hunted for decades and can tell you that whitetail will stop at a distance and turn to look at whatever jumped them. They also move in a circle and look at what (or who) jumped them, from a different angle.

I hike and camp a lot in northern AZ with my german shepherds. Do mountain lions see us as food? Will they stalk us over miles and then ambush us (i'm told thats how they hunt). Would wearing a hiking bell be any kind of deterent? I've ran into lots of bears and never had any problems. Mostly skittish black bears. Never ran into a mountain lion but I always wonder whats best. I carry a gun but that is an absolute last resort for wildlife. Any advice? I'm trying to do more research

I just found you and am captivated! Art is ever evolving. A craft is art, an art is a craft, who gets to decide and besides, 'a rose by another name would smell as sweet'...photography is now accepted as ART, or then again, just quirk or a hobby...Your expertise is evident...I am delighted to have found your channel...

Don’t prairie dogs have diseases
@johnmckeon449815 күн бұрын
All wild animals can carry diseases. This isn't like taking your poodle to get shot at the vet.
@johnmckeon449815 күн бұрын
The fact that they carry diseases isn't really a problem unless you decide to get too close and bit by one. As long as they are living free in the wild where they belong that's not a problem.

Just don't decide to kidnap one as a pet. They aren't meant for that regardless of what Lewis and Clark might try to argue.

I find it criminal the government tells you what you can own and what you have to do to be allowed to own.
