The instructions book states to not use cooking spray or else it can damage the nonstick coating
@morgansdoor Жыл бұрын
Thanks for unloading the video. Appreciate it!^^ Reading the manual when you purchase "anything" is a good idea and here's why🙂: Great that he kept the little plastic legs on, per the manual. Some people remove them thinking that it'll remove the plasticky smell when you first use it. In order to remove the plastic odor that some people complain about, you can run the air fryer WITHOUT any food prior to cooking. I did that with my Gourmia and it worked out well. I kept the temp around 385°F-400°F for 15 min. This was a tip from a KZbinr and NOT from the manual. You need to thoroughly wash the basket and crisper trays with hot water and dishwashing liquid and a non-abrasive sponge BEFORE the first use. Also, wipe the entire unit (inside and out) with a moist cloth (according to the manual). Not sure if he did that or not b/c he didn't mention in his video. Do NOT use cooking spray (like Pam) as this may damage the nonstick coating. Instead spray food with regular cooking oil with an oil mister (according to the manual). No need to stop the air fryer whenever you pull the basket out. It stops automatically when you it out and resumes its operation when you push the basket back in (according to the manual). Happy air frying!🙃

I just bought this same air fryer at Costco and unboxed today to use for dinner. I couldn't get the crisper tray to fit in the basket and noticed in the user manual that the rubber feet should be in the corners and not the edges. I don't think I should have to force the crisper tray into the basket. Seeing that your tray has the feet on the edges, too, it appears to be how they sent out all these units. Did you bend the feet on the tray to get it to fit? Gonna try again.

You can air fry a dozen eggs or 1 egg 12 min 270 deg it'll be identical every time you can cook them exactly how you want them (no guessing like boiling) Do 10 minutes just a little soft 12 minutes to perfectly hard boiled. That's the way to go I have a separate pressure cooker they both have their places it's way better to have them separate
