I am glad he's sharing his family's story bc people don't get it or get it half way and half way is not good enough. I have been trying to stay away from people as much as possible, but bc I live alone I still have to go to the grocery store about once a week. The last time I went to the store some people were not observing the 6 ft distance while in line to get into the store, more over there was this homeless guy talking to this guy behind me just about a foot away. I had enough of it, turned around and went back home. I am not going to tell people to keep a 6 ft distance from me or anybody else. It's just not worth the argument or the confrontation. We're all adults and probably most of us are not illiterate. There're signs everywhere, is on tv, on your phone, on the radio. Just bc you feel fine, doesn't mean you're not a carrier and are giving the gift of covid19 to everyone around you for some 5-7 days before you start to feel ill. We can't control other people's action, but we can control ours.

2 weeks ago, while grocery shopping, I ran into my grandson, he was very upset that I was out, and without a mask. At that point he apologized to me, saying, Grandma, I should have been doing your shopping, etc. So for last few weeks, I'm home, he calls everyday, to see if I need anything and how I'm feeling.
