@@mariecairns7518 Gov. Cooper gave a website for donations. Also, Jose Andres of World Central Kitchen is working with govt agencies in all affected areas to stage their well known relief efforts. Logistics are just so much worse when helicopter access is the only way in or out of a devastated area.

@@jenniferalmeida5763 Hey, your child isn’t the only one out there. This is a massive relief effort that has to coordinate with a lot of moving pieces in order to get necessities to the most vulnerable. If you aren’t helping then you are adding to the problem. Do better.

Lying Governor can't name ANYTHING SPECIFIC. Not the number of choppers, not what food or where you are dropping it!. He is NOT SAYING ANYTHING .... WHERE, WHAT FOOD??? HOW MANY CHOPPERS?

The governor gave some specifics but he left most of that to the experts, like the Director of Emergency Management that followed him and then the Adjutant General from the National Guard.

Is this really helpful? How does this help anyone get what they need ? The Governor and the other Emergency Management gentleman offered quite a few numbers and measureable objectives The entire area is impacted by “A Biblical Disaster”! And not just NC Nearly the entire Southeast as well as nearly all of the Florida West Coast. The main highways and major roads into and out of WNC have been wiped out from all directions. If you can’t do anything else be quiet and Pray if you really are Christian or a person of faith. May God bless you and yours and I pray in Christ’s name that you and yours are safe and protected. And if not, I pray that you will find help coming your way expeditiously now.

You are a terrible, political piece of work. You don't understand the magnitude of the devastation and the number of isolated communities. Your governor is probably getting by on very little sleep and working hard to coordinate solutions to a massive number of problems.

@@sarahwall2892 I am frustrated because my daughter is in Asheville and they literally have nothing. They were told only tonight that they won’t get their power maybe until October 4th. The in-laws lost their house to the flood in Haywood. I think I have a right to be a little frustrated.
