Point blank is that they DO allow immigrants to come to Colorado without documentation regardless if those immigrants are committing crimes or not.

Last month 19 people were arrested by the Aurora Police department. Is that the same complex our governor said there was no gang in control? In my old age my memory fades from time to time. With or without federal help we must fight crime. Again my memory failing, wasn’t there a time a little back when our governor asked for federal help under Biden to fight crime here in our state? I believe in states rights. If the state can do right. Did we have anyone in the state that wanted to be hard on our law enforcement officials? Failing minds would like to know.

You seem logical to me Kevin. I am a states rights kinda person myself, however they have “jumped the shark” (showing my age just in case anyone knows where that phrase came from). Our states rights have been bruised and abused so badly that I have to sound like a big gov supporter now myself. Thanks to such crappy leadership, I am a bit more of a constitutional scholar as well. Maybe if we free Tina Peters and use her cell for a few other fibbers around here then I can get back to appreciating states rights.

I have to agree with you that she was the very first elected official arrested and convicted. Since the judge was appointed by the governor. Seeing how Donald Trump was handled in New York. You have to ask your self are you safe as an American citizen. When seeing this news station report on representative Lauren Boebert. Finding a turd or not finding a turd in the bathroom is bigger news. Then holding state leaders accountable one has to wonder what kind of education one gets in schools. With all the public schools story after story of inappropriate behavior between teachers and students. I definitely wonder about the mental health criteria that is showing up. Seeing these young men and women becoming journalist, doctors,judges, and lawyers. I wonder today if they can recite the pledge of allegiance. Or if they really know what’s between Genesis and Revelation. Which the schools were first opened to teach kids how to read the Bible and interpret it correctly. If Hollywood, taught us one thing in Forrest Gump. Stupid is what stupid does. Hopefully common sense, justice and liberty. Without fear of government, or crime. We can live in peace and liberty.

This "civil" penalty you speak of only applies to people who are actually apprehended trying to enter, or people who overstayed legitimate visas or permits. To all those who have actually entered with no process at all, USC 1325 states that it is a crime punishable by 6 months to 2 years. People do not get imprisoned for civil infractions. You should do better research before you spin the news, but I know you won't.
