Beautiful town. Impressive greenery

it is a good trend and should be encouraged. If everybody tiles the road in his/her home town, then the whole Anambra will be good for us all.

It's a shame for Nigeria that someone like Soludo is a professor. Even in his hometown, he could not provide them with paved sidewalks in this modern age. All over Anambra, he is building narrow roads with open gutters and no paved sidewalks. Or has Soludo never traveled abroad before and seen how civilized people build roads? As a so-called "professor", Soludo is supposed to show the other Governors the way things are done in the modern world

One of the best thing Soludo will do for this roads is to cover the drains, otherwise the collapse of the road may even start with the drains: with time, due to lateral pressure from the road, those drains may begin to cave in. The drain cover will not only add aesthetics, it will also help to resist the lateral pressure from the road.

It's a welcome development and that's why most towns in Anambra is developing fast unlike some states most of their development concentrated in their capital. After Soludo tenure it is Nnewi senatorial zone and such touches will be there. It is all in Anambra not ugwu hausa
@YangaLife27 күн бұрын
Nnewi and Isuofia have the same Senatorial zone, which is Anambra South. Next will be Anambra central.

@@YangaLife then how do they share the governorship slot (APGA) in Anambra state because we are here to learn and I know after Soludo is going to Nnewi zone. After completing the video all I have to say that he could have do half of the roads and then channels rest to our cities

Are you saying that the whole state voted Soludo into power so that he could use the entire resources of the state to develop only his enclave? Little wonder he decided to use the only competent construction firm - AG Vision for the construction of his 'territory' while infrastructures in Akwa, Nnewi, and Onitsha are being handled by second class construction firms where aesthetics is not much a priority. This thing we call "Trend" where a governor constructs every bush path in his village at the detriment of the whole state is nothing but trying to play the others for fools and it must be condemned by all well - meaning statesmen and stateswomen. How much is Isuofia contributing in terms of IGR to Anambra?

Honestly Soludo is brutal.. .😢 If onitsha or awka have this kinnd of touch ,many things will fall in place. Why such total transformation of a village ,that pays nothing to state coffers.. Ist cos it soludos village?

Still these open sewers and no sidewalks like his life depends on it as if we're still living in the early 20th century rather than the 21st century....smh. These leaders love mediocrity.

These are poorly done road. Within 2 rainy seasons the roads will be washed off. Go to ikot Ekpene and see what the former governor in the person Godwin Akpabio did in his village.
@user-fj3up9nh2f24 күн бұрын
Not true. It is village road, it will definitely last. The once done by Ngige and obi are still standing and are of similar standards. Stop comparing Ibom state with Anambra state. The former gets over 700b naira in a year while the later gets less than 200b. 500b difference isn't a joke.

That is why you have to support your own to become a Governor and when he is there, he can do the needful but if he fails to do that during his tenure, don't blame another governor from another place that is giving attention to his home town. As it is now, rotational governorship is the best way to go.
