Govee Pro Permanent Outdoor Lights Test 200ft with Driver

where and how would you install the controller? I have about 450 feet of lights which will be several controllers. Trying to figure out how to install the controllers before I purchase. I have Hardie soffit

The driver id image is a transmitter and reciver for the data signal. Basically a booster.I used to work for jellyfish. Data loss is your biggest issue with these lights but thats when doing a 40 ft jump from on light to another. Its strange, though cause your not introducing any jump into the line which would interfer with data on a 16/4 line. These lights are interesting and they have some awesome indoor ones!

I just ordered two 100ft strands. Can I connect bot strands with one 120v receptacle? I guess in between the second module is attached?

You could try, but they say any length over 150 needs the driver.

I did this i ordered (2) 100ft sets and i couldnt get all 200ft to turn on. The max i could get to turn on was 9 segments i now have a bunch of Govee products i have 2 sets of 150ft the bluetooth adapters i have is 1 h705a and 2 h705C which from what i understood was i couldnt add a govee driver module to a bluetooth adapter that was not an h705C so i obtained one then i added the govee driver module after the 5th segment and still am not getting any power after the 9th segment. Do i need a different bluetooth adapter? Im seriously getting ready to just order the 200ft pro and starting over. I cant figure it out.

As far as we can tell it's not being sold individually, only with the 200ft pro set.

do you have to plug it into your roof or power it?

It plugs into a regular outlet, but it will need to be protected from the elements so ours will be inside.

The driver is added in the middle because of power. At the beginning the lights at the end won’t get full power hence why you inject power in the middle that was they are all getting the same power.

Eh, life. Lotsa editing and tons of people already have install videos. We do need to do a follow up now, less that a year and they're yellowing and falling off.

I’m torn between getting Govee pro $700 for 200 feet and $1000 install or trimlight $4500

Same here, I ended up going with the Govee , $4500 is a bit steep

That driver is a pixel amplifier, its designed to boost the data signal.To do power injection you would need a seperate power supply and a tee connector. The data signal would feed straight thru, power would enter the tee.
