For many years I have defined government bureaucracy as a mountain of corruption concealed by an ocean of incompetence. While most people who interact with government realize that it is generally a view of blundering incompetence, that very ocean of incompetence conceals the inevitable corruption that exists beneath the surface. The hard part is finding the corruption and distinguishing it from the ocean of incompetence in which it hides.

You see dimslee wants to ban non-electric cars by 2030? No way is that A-hole going to stop me from driving my dream car. I restored a 1966 Chevy Nova SS. I did most of it except some mounting. I love the sound of that 327 and shifting gears.

It essentially allows you to keep your cars, but it tries to prevent the sale of gas or diesel cars after that time. It is probably just a fake idea because the electric grid can't handle it anyway, and it is unclear if there is a way to make it handle it without installing nuclear reactors in Downtown Seattle, Tacoma, Bellingham, Spokane and Olympia - which might be a cool idea.

We should write an initiative that the Governor, members of the House and Senate, AG and other heads of these so called homeless agencies at all levels of the state are required to perform 20 hours a month of community service actually cleaning up the drug paraphernalia, trash and graffiti from these homeless camps. The homeless problem would be solved within a year.

Most people want government to "do something" about an issue, then they're satisfied once government has done "something." The something that government does is usually ineffective and expensive, but continues with the promise that it will work if we just increase the funding next year. And don't forget, government will always massage the numbers to make projects look better than they are.

I see the I-90 corridor and the border of Idaho contain the smartest people in WA... That road coincidently leads to Idaho... Come on over. Where critical thinkers are both welcome and respected! If you are stuck in WA, folks like Glen are helping guide you to a better future - but you must unite and take action against tyranny, corruption and incompetence. As a side note... WA GOV will not heal itself or become suddenly responsible. I challenge any one of you to deal with any state agency... Make calls, demand answers... You will get a hand to the face! Much like Glen alluded to, WA GOV will pass the responsibility around like a cheap bottle of wine. It's really, really broken. I like to call it the Circle of Doom... Where Inslee, Ferguson, Franz and others like Levine spend countless resources on deflection, distraction and self-promo videos.

It doesn't work that why. I've been in a lot of court cases the last 5 years. I suspect you have not. However, you can do it if you want. My suggestion is do your homework, document the cause of action, etc. Raise the money and do what you think best. The point is to encourage many people to take a variety of paths toward freedom and liberty, not to sit back and outsource the fight for your freedom to others.

I did what everyone else should do, move out of the state. Massive miss management, wasteful spending, fee's and fines without representation, heavy taxation, crime, violence and the homeless. Jay do-che has already flushed and your already circling the bowl and your gradually going down the drain.. how much are you willing to lose? Are you willing to lose your spouse or children to violence, are you willing to have your children's future destroyed do to lack of education, are you willing to lose your children to drug addiction/overdose, are you willing to lose your home and livelihood when your company pulls up stakes and leaves. By their policies they are flipping the state upside-down. I didn't give up I'm letting them walk in the tihs that they seem to love. The sidewalks are clean, taxes are low and our children are getting educated. Your not thinking of that fact that 10s of the thousands of conservatives have fled Washington. If we couldn't win elections with those numbers how can you win without them. If your fine giving up 6 blocks of a major city, willing to hand over a police headquarters, willing to walk through human waste, I find it very hard to believe they will vote differently no matter the facts even a BILLION of them.

No matter where you moved, the EXACT same thing is happening there. It might not be as bad YET, but it isn't far off. Don't fall asleep at the switch like all your local politicians probably are (at best). The bloat of bureaucracy is unstoppable without intervention and a recognition of what it is. Bureaucracy will always expand at the expense of your freedom. You just moved into a place where it is happening around you and you probably don't even see it yet.

A tougher question first - The $30 car tabs demand from voters was stolen by the Supreme Court and the Democrats, once again, because of the failure to hold these clowns accountable. That has become a perfect metaphor for the corruption of the political class, and their unwillingness to be accountable to the people or even pretend they are doing what the people want.

What do you think of Nadine Woodward? I voted for her and lets just say... less less then pleased. If for no other reason then she thinks Caving to big business demand s or purpose's makes her a conservative ... or dare I say it A republican. But I've seen enough to know she's left leaner at heart, which is not what I voted for. In todays Spokane Communist review it talks about her wanting to hire or add a chief of staff.. you know for Reason's. The city counsel thinks it smells a rat. Myself I'm stuck. The city counsel maybe far more worried about a competent bureaucrat who has more time to hold them accountable but I also feel is this just another tool to reward supporter's with a good paying job.. It is important to hold elected officials accountable to the voters and the people who put them in office regardless of what political party they associate with. That being said, I know that things look different when you are in the trenches fighting these battles. Presuming you are actually trying to make a difference and not just going along for the ride and helping to bloat and make it worse....
