No....no.....and no my friend. I live in a clean home, I eat a nutritious diet, I take care of myself and I've never needed antibiotics for anything other than an infected tooth that needed pulling. As a registered nurse...I know for a fact that antibiotics are absolutely over prescribed and we're now being hit with countless antibiotic resistant infections...in my mind due to over use of antibiotics. We certainly didn't have MRSA before antibiotics were discovered. So...what causes infection? Germs or filth? You should google Germ Theory v/s Terrain! It will blow your mind!

@@StoneyRidgeFarmer so, when your tooth got infected, why did you use antibiotics? FYI, I agree with you for the most part about everything. But before antibiotics people died from what we now consider treatable diseases. Antibiotics are a life saver, even if they are totally over used.

OVER use of antibiotics is bad and the medical community has totally agreed with this. Antibiotics when used appropriately to treat a known infection is absolutely a life saver. Over use of antibiotics are destroying immune systems in people and animals. Natural immunity is the best thing for preventing diseases. When things get beyond what a natural immune system can handle then medications are the answer. I also work in health care and have for over 20 years, I do not get sick very often even though I am around sick people every day. I have developed an immune system that generally keeps me healthy. When I have needed medications I absolutely take them. Antibiotics are over prescribed and most people do not take them correctly, ie until the series is gone and the infection has been neutralized. Antibiotics are also not specific and kill all bacteria good and bad. They upset your natural gut health, which is why a lot of people get diarrhea. Josh is saying use them when there are sick animals not as a preventative measure. Take care.

My sister worked as a packing assistant in a large supermarket in Australia as a meat packer. She noticed that on some particular cuts of meat there were large cysts. She mentioned this to the head Butcher and he cut them off and told her to put them back out on the supermarket shelves. This was 30 years ago but I don't think things have improved.

beef cattle always go with the mamas. Dairy cattle , not so much, but then a lot of dairy cows are terrible moms. There are things we can do about this though, it just takes time, and a shift in how we think about things. Look into calf sharing, it is a methid of both milking the cow, AND have her calf with her for most of the time.

You will find the executives of these chemical companies, feed lots, etc. on hospital board of directors, our pharmaceutical companies, etc. Look at the packaged food you pick up at the store. Much of it isn't even real food. It will say so on the package in smaller letters. My children when they were younger, wanted a grilled cheese sandwich. I told them to grab some cheese slices and some butter while over in the dairy section. At home, being ready to make some grilled cheese sandwiches, I reached in the fridge for the butter and cheese. They had grabbed margarine. I didn't really want to slather the bread slices in it , however it was all we had. Margarine is only one molecule away from plastic. No insect or animal will eat it, other than us brainwashed humans. I don't believe any human will tell you it tastes better than butter. I certainly won't. On the package of cheese, it said imitation cheese food. Contains no dairy products. It looked as if the only ingredients were chemicals. Not what I wanted to feed my family at all. The more I began to check into our food supply, the pickier I became. I started reading the ingredients, etc. My husband asked if it were really necessary. Well with many of their friends in the hospital, or trying to recover at home with life threating illnesses I said yes, I think it is. That 80% of our immune system is in the gut. We need to be aware of what we are eating. Children under 11, who eat two or more hot dogs a week, are 10x more likely to develope leukemia. We eat GMO foods because our government will not require them to be labeled. No one seems to care until one of their own family members get a life threating illness like cancer. It has to make you wonder what is the FDA purpose in being, if not to protect our food etc.

The one point you are missing. It's not just grass-fed, it is grass FINISHED beef. All cows/steer/heifers are grass-fed until a certain point in their life. So they can claim, grass-fed on a label. So beware. Make sure it states grass-finished, not just fed.

I grew up around family farms. Those people ate and fed their families the livestock raised on their farms. I've raised cage free ducks and chickens. Their eggs are much harder to break than store bought eggs. Most of those chickens are stuffed into cages without enough room so the chicken can stand up. That is no way for a healthy animal to grow up. What is happening to our food supply is disgraceful. Please think about what you are digesting in your bodies. Eat healthy, as best as you can.

Josh. Thanks for your post. As a healthcare worker as an RN and Nurse Practitioner for 44 years, I understand the dangers of antibiotics given willy nilly. I, like you, have seen super infections. Antibiotics are not the end all be all especially in the healthy. Let these cows develop their natural immunities. Let them grow naturally. Don't use the steroids. There are many problems associated with them. Use your own bodies hormones not artificial ones. This applies to animals and cows. As far as GMO's are concerned, I am frightened about what these can do in the wrong hands. I also think that the New Green Deal advocates that want to eliminate the cow problem have forgotten or didn't pay attention in 8th grade physical science when matter and energy was taught. We are just recycling the methane. Or is that not allowed? People that were telling us to follow the science during the pandemic should practice what they preach. I think you may be referring to vegan food per se and I agree with what you say on the processing and production faults but for health reasons I eat only organic fruit and vegetables and make my meals only of these so this is far more removed from supermarket vegan aisles to which I believe you are referring as in beyond burger,fake meats, soya etc etc. I support my local farm where I purchase it from. Not all is as it seems, organic farm produce is healthier than a supermarket and packaged foods filled with binders, e numbers, chemicals and bulkers. I feel today there is a huge assumption that when someone says they are plant based it is believed they support and eat the shite in the stores. Not true. There are many people eating home grown and farm grown organic fruit and vegetables and making home cooked plant based meals from it. It supports farming and is clean eating. My family eat organic free range and grass fed meat again supplied by our local farm so I feel happy in my conscious spending and support whom it matters the most ie big farmer not big pharma. I think this point is pertinent that you bring up as today so much judgement and jumping to conclusions can miss out on just how much unity there is as opposed to divisive tactics they want us to fall for. We moved out of the city 15 years ago. Everything grown on the land around us is to feed to animals. I am sickened every year as I watch them spray the fields AS they plant those gmo seeds. I was an RN for 9 years and omg the system is broken and prevention is ignored. Health care practitioners get our "education" from books written by big pharma. Even nursing school hardly touches the issue of nutrition. It's about the five rights of medications - right med, right person, right dose, right route, right time. But I never forgot the "right to refuse" which I always documented as "declined" rather than "refused." Your rant inspired me. Exactly, Josh! We started our own hair sheep (meat) farm here in southwest Ohio to get our own food source. Sheep were more manageable than cows on 12 acres that we have. We started with 2 ewes and a ram last year. After this year's lambing season, we now have 13! It's been quite a learning process, but we are thrilled with the regenerative farming practices and rotational grazing we've adopted. We'll soon have a freezer full of grass fed lamb! Love this video. Don't know what anyone is talking about when they say their store bought beef tastes better than grass fed. Bought a half cow last year as there is only wife and I. This beef is raised like yours. And it tastes so much better. And you are totally correct about GMOs. They are killing us. Look at the obesity in this country. Great job Josh. Thank you! We need to bring back local, natural food systems, and smaller, family farm holdings instead of corporate, industrial farms. Im not mennonite, but im lucky enough to live near one of their farm collective outlets. The food quality!! So incredible. A lot of younger people are going to rural properties and looking at small farming businesses. Theyve been forced out of urban centers by high housing costs. Maybe this is an upside? We definitely need more of us to return to growing food, and do it rught 😊

Moving to grass-fed beef about 18months ago was another in my journey which started almost ten years ago to clean up my diet. This video makes me want to take it to the next level. I was just on a road trip, and along the way, there was quite a few farms with grazing cows, but a couple with that other getup where the cows were in a small compartment with the head stuck into a feeder with grain being dropped down some kind of slide. Seeing it made me think, we discourage humans from doing this. My next step will be finding farms near me so I can know exactly what I'm eating.

That part always blows my mind. Somehow its more expensive to go all natural on food and buy organic stuff, yet it's cheaper to buy meat and other foods that have all these chemicals and additives in there, so not only are the farmers putting out the cost for the meat and such, but then they're buying chemicals and other things to ADD to it, how could that possibly make something cheaper to produce? Or even offer a better system? But when you realize it's all set up by design that way it starts to make a lot of sense. It's perfectly understandable....if you have a knife factory and you make 10,000 knives a week...it's cheaper to produce them.....if you can buy tools, equipment and supplies by the shipping container load...it's cheaper to produce the final product...same goes with farm fresh grass fed beef. A grass fed/finished steer takes longer to raise...cost more to raise and cost more to have processed on a small scale. You're buying a "factory farmed" animal at WalMart.....not a hand raised premium quality animal. Now...the enemy you speak of is US!!!!! Common sense is our enemy!! Cheap food is our enemy and you vote with your $$$ every time you hit the grocery store. We complain about paying $3 more per lb of meat from a local grass fed chemical free farm...but gladly hand $200 per month to the cable/phone and internet companies for our entertainment. It's not about surviving...it's about "you are what you eat" and if you're eating this GMO and preservative covered garbage....your brain cells are made up of it!!! I don't know of any other person selling beef that's as pure and chemical free as mine....but you're buying a "hand made" packet of beef...not a factory farmed Walmart beef my friend

Josh is right, just look at my parents generation (I’m 45) and my grandparents, they all grew up eating from the local farmer in my parents case they ate with they grew on their farm, they were much healthier they weren’t on tons of medication’s. I'm with you 100%. I live next door to an "organic" winery and they spray those grapes a minimum of 6 times per season. Yuk! I close all my windows when I see them doing that. Plus there are orchards all around me and those are getting sprayed with God knows what. I'm seriously thinking of moving.

I had no idea how important this info was until I had 2 kids come live with me. They were sick all the time; supposedly lots of allergies and on meds along with other issues. I stopped buying milk at the store and gave them raw milk from local farm, I purchased honey from local farm, I had just put my own pork and beef in the freezer. These kids never had anything but hot dogs, pizza chicken nuggets Mac &cheese… etc. within 4 weeks they were off all allergy meds and stopped seeing the doc every few weeks. We now see doc 1 time a year, possibly. There were some terrible dinner times at first but now they are used to good clean food. They still get that junk once in awhile.

The other big issue is the meat cutting industry. With 5 major cutters they have divided the country into little monopolies. I am 100% with you, also an ICU RN, Military vet, chicken and duck farmer until I get more room.

Reason that meat comes to market by medicated animals is that it comes down to making higher profit. In 1978 we started a small farm in southern Illinois and purchased feeder calves and raised them strictly on grass. I had people who purchase cattle in advance for them to be butchered. There is definite difference in the quality of the meat!!! I agree with you 100%.

Here from the SC upstate. I finally bit the bullet and found a farm that is about 25minutes away from me that has the same views as you. Money is no object at this point, you pay now or pay later in hospital bills and bad health. I got my diabetic parents to finally eat healthy too. Chickens, cows, and pigs plus their dairy and local mushrooms. Support your local farms people!

Man, Amen Brother! our store bought food is making us sick! We had a ranch in California when I was growing up and raised GRASS FED BEEF! My grandfather would take his cattle to a butcher as needed for our beef. Sadly when we moved to NC in the 70s we started eating store bought beef.. This was long before the Grass fed movement and I am sure that we became sicker for it. Grass fed beef is the best beef. Thanks Josh for this. This should be viral. THIS should be the news.. There are a bunch of online meat producers that you can order pure meat from: Moink, Grassroots Meat, Summerfield Meats, just to name a few. Many have boxes and you can modify what you get for a specific price. They are delivered on dry ice and a meat subscription can be altered or canceled anytime. Shopping from a farmer from your local farmers market is great, also. You maybe able to find one that doesn’t junk up their meat. Grass fed/finished beef is denser in texture as is a forest fed pig.

I've known about the subject of corn-fed beef vs grass-fed beef for years and I'm so glad to see you putting this info out to educate people about their food sources. The 1st time that I tasted grass-fed hamburger meat, I was suddenly reminded of the way beef tasted when I was a kid in the 70s (dating myself, but who cares). A ranch here in Texas told me about a trick involving grass-fed beef where cows are only grass-fed long enough to achieve the label even though having been fed grains prior. They showed me what to look for in the marbling of the meat. Glyphosate/Roundup ready= Monsanto= George Soros (originally). Nothing good comes from anything that man touches much like Bill Gates. Apparently, Bill Gates has also started something called Apeel (spelling?) recently to coat and preserve veggies for ages now so you really can't tell how old they are...and it's evidently being used on organic produce, too. I most definitely wouldn't buy any produce or meat/dairy from Wal-Mart given their low standards. In Texas, we have HEB and there are plenty of grass-fed & organic options. I trust their quality standards more than Walmart or Sprouts (yuck!). Our Farmer's Market here in Corpus Christi also has booths visited by Edelen Farms (Veteran owned) and No Bullsh*t Beef which are generational, organic grass-fed beef. You aren't only what YOU eat...you are also what you're eating has eaten.

Hillary Clinton has been on Walmarts board for 30 yrs! They get Govt sunsidies to keep prices low to run Small businesses out. Walmart used a front man, Sam Walton, who ran the Japanese internment camps in Calif during WW2. the people put in there were US citizens; families, kids & all. Rebecca, you are correct on so many of the topics covered in your post. If I could, I'd add a photo of the Apeel label. I went to all my local markets and asked the produce manager whether the products were coated with Apeel. In each case, they knew almost nothing about Apeel. In one market, the stocker had just finished loading avocado on the shelf. There wasn't a single label on the produce-- it was ONLY on the box. Consumer beware!!! It is why we all must stop purchasing from the box stores. KNOW YOUR FARMER!!! Ask your farmer!!! Organic apples can be sprayed with antibiotics (to prevent fireblight). In Europe they spray with grapeseed oil. KNOW YOUR FARMER!!! Ask your farmer (grower)!!!
