Why are people talking about resettling Gaza, when there are still hostages there? Rebuilding is not the problem, look at pictures of Germany that was totally destroyed in the war, but they rebuilt. People rebuild after a hurricane, after an earthquake, a tornado, and war. Right now, the focus should be on protecting Israel, getting the hostages, and victory because Israel must be victorious to survive.

Truth is that after the Middle East war, when Israel made peace with Egypt, the Egyptians insisted on getting back every last square inch of the Sinai peninsula, yet they were quite adamant not to take the Gaza strip back to their control. Which means, as they've made peace with Israel under these and no other conditions, that the Gaza strip is not Israeli occupied, but Israeli posession. Take over Gaza Israel 🇮🇱, it's your land.

Mrs Weiss is mistaken and the anchor got it right. The withdrawal wasn’t because of Oslo. The cost of security wasn’t worth it. You had Hamas coming to communities and by sea (swimming) and killing them. 8k lived there and away from Israeli population centres. No significant religious places in Gaza.
