blane tulloch The right to choose is what's up for debate, not whether abortion is right or wrong. I don't know anybody who would argue that the act of abortion itself is good.

+blane tulloch Strange, I think it's good and not wrong. My point: it's not a thing that's objectively wrong; it's entirely subjective. People will get abortions no matter what these days. Of course, not everyone is going to get one, but if they do want one, they will go to whatever place allows them to get one. That's why a choice is important; if it's legal people will go to a professional and proper hospital, whereas illegal might make people go to a "less-than-ideal" hospital in a country or place where the surgeons might not be the best. In short; if you don't want an abortion, don't get one. It's really as simple as that. Don't ruin something for others just because you don't like it yourself.
@teubert2
@teubert2 6 жыл бұрын
+Um Jammer Chelle I would argue it is good. Why? The population is high enough as is. Of course, one can argue the problem is with people living in non-environmentally-friendly ways or too many live in "wrong" places, but that's besides the point lol.

Elizabeth R fuck you. No offense, ( and I’m aware that this isn’t the best way to tell someone something) but your statement is so ignorant. 1) people do actually save for retirement, but it’s not easy: Paying for kids college, keeping a stable job, having good financial advisors that don’t fuck you over, not falling for traps, making sure your work has a good retirement program, saving for emergencies, saving money for when you are in the hospital for things like cancer, paying off your house, buying gifts for Christmas and birthdays, and general life “fuck you.” 2) you do realize you’re going to be old someday? I see young people complain all the time about this all the time, and I just don’t understand how people think that they are immortal. I guarantee that when you are old if someone tries to cut social security, you will flip your shit. And I can already see what you’re about to say “we’ll maybe if we weren’t taxed so much, we wouldn’t need social security.” Well that’s a nice thought. Unfortunately there’s this thing called reality. And the reality is, is that while i did say that planing for retirement is hard, people are still terrible about it. Cutting social security doesn’t mean more people will save, it means more people will spend. While that’s good for the economy, that’s really only short term. Elderly people not having enough money is a serious problem, that hurts the economy. People who live check-by-check are also heavily affected if social security is cut. They aren’t able to save for retirement, and cutting social security won’t do them any good because they aren’t taxed heavily for social security. I know what you’re thinking: That’s not my problem. You’re right. It’s OUR problem. Social security is for we. Not me. It’s for us. All of us. It’s for a middle class mom who sent 5 kids to college. It’s for the farmer from Montana. It’s for the 76 year old woman with dementia. It’s for the high school teacher who busted his ass for 40+ years. It’s for the Walmart employee who recently got laid off. It’s for all of us. Sorry that you having to help pay for that is such a god damn burden.

I guess Elizabeth deleted her comment. Can't really blame her. I'm a big fan of social security, myself, at least partly because I depend on it for income. I'd just be dead without it. It could probably do with a reform, to clean up a lot of the mess it's infected with, but conceptually it's very important.

It's a problem inherent in political simulators. One, you represent a government, not a single individual, or even a party. As a result, there's no party infighting, there's no need to get a majority to pass legislation, you just have boundless control over policies, with your only limits here being a sort of currency based on your own popularity, a pure abstraction. It also means whenever 'corruption' is a thing, it's just something the player spends money towards preventing, rather than it being a situation where the politicians themselves benefit from this 'corruption' on a personal level, as happens in the real world. Two, these games have to account for everyone's political views to be viable. You want a libertarian plutocracy with no government spending beyond police and military? Done. You want an Orwellian dictatorship of the proletariat that's always been at war with Eurasia? You can do that to. You want to bring back the monarchy and conquer the world like a modern-day Napoleon? Feel free. Essentially, the popularity of these games depends on mass appeal, and mass appeal here means 'are your own political views viable?'

Well, if we didn't police the world tyrants and dictators would rise in the stead of Democratic governments. They would then of course seek to grow militarily and in size, granted the fact that they could get Nuclear weapons. Europe would fall back into war as Russia slowly gained momentum against NATO, eventually nukes would fly between both sides(With let's say America Abandoning NATO for some reason). The remnants would then ensue in a generation long blood war, America would be forced into a decision as the world slowly destroyed itself. To either become isolated from the world's problems or join in, let's assume they didn't join in and the one who came to rule Europe would then seek to expand towards America to try and take out a sleeping giant. Just as Japan attempted to in WWII. In essence if we weren't here to police the world we would be forced into war one way or another. That or we'd wait until Europe and many other areas eventually destroy each other before moving in to create a one world government. However that may not be possible as the remnants would still be at war and nuclear radiation would be vibrant. If we hadn't intervened in WWII, Germany would have devastated the ally powers of France(Which it did) and Britian. Their remnants would have continued to fight the war in the form of resistance groups and terrorism against the Nazis. Eventually the main Axis powers would control North Africa due to the absence of America support, aid, and industry. Removing Allied Power in the Mediterranean sea, Britian would begin losing at the sea in exchange for the German U boats and subs which would grow to dominate in technology and power. Though eventually the Axis powers would face off against Russia, without troops being placed elsewhere and aid from Italy the Axis powers may have overpowered the Russians. In effect ending Communism in Europe. Japan would then take over Asia unopposed, ending Chinese rule or any potential for it. In effect ending the war in favor for the Axis powers. Eventually though Axis would declare war on America due to their democratic and threat level, with their new-found Russian land they'd invade upper America while an even more powerful Japan taking the war to the seas, with Axis naval aid. Which would include a line of new Battleships, like the Bismarck. The US would be overpowered by Axis land blitz, just as France and Britian was. The German airforce at the time was powerful, and without Britian to introduce modifications for America's airforce they may loose the air battles. Eventually the overwhelming German forces from the takeover of Russia and their industrial advantage would lead to a long world war. America would probably loose the Sea and the Air superiority. While Axis powers gained land in North America, Mexico would then join against the US as the Axis powers forced their hands against the them. Eventually America would fall into the hands of the Axis powers, overwhelmed by the sheer numbers and war spoils of the Axis powers. Without the US, Italy may have turned into a New Roman Empire and Mussolini would've become it's emperor, without Allied powers to threaten Italy the resistance that overthrew him would've been way smaller. Eventually Axis could have come to rule the world in a way that eradicated Jews and diverse people, liberty would've been gone. However resistance groups of diverse people would form against Axis powers, just to no avail. Eventually Axis would become technologically advanced, maybe even using nuclear weapons to conquer more land. Whether good or bad Axis would in effect form a one world order, eventually under the rule of a dictatorship the people may have wanted freedom and more powers, attempting to overthrow the Axis powers in favor for a new Democratic Government. However the odds of success would be finite as Axis developed more into the field of militaristic technologies to crush rebellions and enforce their laws. However this is a just a theory of what would likely happen. Either way, if the US hadn't been forced into WWII we could have seen a very different world from our current one. A world where Human life meant nothing, a world where mankind was unified by a single white-race, a world where anyone different would be experimented on and eradicated, a world without liberty and freewill. In my personal opinion I'm happy the US came to power and not the Axis or the Russians, as both would have been devastating and would see the end of Democratic governments.

Was a tad annoyed at Canada being defiled by the US but once I learned that it was all a clever ruse to reincorporate the colonies back into the British empire I was ok with it. Long live the queen. PS let’s leave Australia alone though, that place is terrifying.

Yeah that a random youtuber does a better job than all presidents this side of Kennedy really says something. Trump though, in spite of his personal qualities, has done more good for this country, with no salary, lobbyist contribution, or other horsefuckery, than any president since Kennedy..... and the leftys hate him for it. The leftys still cannot get over the fact that total socialist meltdown has been abated for another 8 years.....yeah, bet your ass that the working class gives ol' pussy grabber another term, my retirement is now possible under Trump where under Clinton my job would have been sent to South America, and under Sanders been eliminated altogether. Play your bullshit cards CNN and NBC give out all you want. Two scoops, two genders, two terms. Get some.

Jon, people in America don’t like it when you make things compulsory, we enjoy having the right to choose. Also, you didn’t actually take the guns, you just made the law more strict about owning illegal guns. So killing unborn babies is always allowed but killing serial killers is never allowed. and at the end of it all, after consolidating his power, King Jon the first of America sets off the first nuclear explosion used in warfare for over 70 years and unknowingly starts the nuclear apocalypse.

What a very simplistic game with a very slanted view. Jon exploited it well "I am dictator and you have NO GUNS! Muahaha" as for reality, gun control doesn't decrease crime, we have this thing called black market. Chicago has strictest gun laws, highest gun crime. Cops come 15 minutes after a crime, no matter how many there are Big problem in America is poorly trained police officers, I do not want ONLY cops and criminals to have guns Rationing of healthcare? No thanks, Europeans! We need tort reform in America, we have the best aka worst lawyers in the world and THAT is why our healthcare is faltering & expensive I will have to stream this game with a Libertarian view...something tells me the developer will not reward that ideology

Tort reform AND the ending of insurance mandates and community ratings. If the average person knew just how each affects the cost of health services and health insurance there'd be much more of a revolt. But the individual health insurance market is relatively small and, since PPACA, even smaller, so most people are insulated from the effects of burdensome regulations.. Then there's administrative compliance costs and it's not just charting and EHR (the worst software on the planet) Medical malpractice liability insurance premiums can cost north of 35,000 per year-- depending on state.

Yeah but in the game if he took all the gun he took literally all the guns and I assume that means strictly enforced laws and all across the board it is no guns at all. In real life Chicago has strict guns laws and gun crime is still high. That doesn't consider that the drive from Chicago to Indiana is about two hours to Indianapolis and even less if you are just trying to get into the state. In Indianan gun laws are a lot less strict. Chicago police complain of the amount being brought over to add to the Black market. It isn't exactly a good example of the lack of efficiently unless you ignore the difference of country wide laws versus varying laws and regulation.

There's the problem. More socialism requires more government control, and exercising control over the people requires them to be disarmed so they can't resist you. Look at Britain for example. The British government passed its first real gun control legislation immediately after WW 1 because they were afraid the returning servicemen would be pissed off about the whole "dying for nothing" business and try to do something. When nothing happened, they left the gun control in place and then kept making it stricter and stricter to the point that the average British person has never even seen a gun let alone fired one.
