A national consultation about the future of the NHS is being launched today. Patients and health professionals are invited to have their say on how to transform the service over the next decade.
The 10-year plan to overhaul the NHS will begin with new laws introduced this week to make patient medical records available across all trusts in England.

Correct assessment, we have all heard these promise many times before. We are looking to see what they can do for us now. Not what they can do for us many years in the future. It's pure electioneering, and nothing else. Jam tomorrow, but now we have (The Electorate) to put up with pork drippings.

Diet, nutrition and physical activity are of course so so important and are the things that all individuals can control for themselves. But not the only factor. Mental wellbeing including our family lives and social lives contribute to our bodies wellbeing. Our work lives are important - who here actually feels like they have a meaningful job, or even any job security? Environmental contamination like tap water full of chemicals, micro plastics and all of the chemicals we spray on our foods contribute. Smoking is really not a problem. It's a bit like the ICE ban for cars... Because we see it we assume it's the main problem. The quality of life in the UK is on a sharp decline and has been for 10 or 20 years. This is probably the biggest factor in the declining health of the nation. People are fed up, have no motivation or no spiritual grounding.

Smoking absolutely is a problem. My grandmother died at 65 of second hand lung cancer and I believe it was because her husband smoked 20-40 a day for decades around her. It was never confirmed but she never smoked at all. They were born and lived in Sudan.

@alansharman3644
@alansharman3644 33 минут бұрын
Anyone on benefits will lose the maintenance payments to the dwp if they have to stay on benefits no matter how little they need. So the child will see none of the benefit and so the one parent family will be no better off and the dwp will be quids in. Saving money for the government is the only goal while keeping every "single" parent poor as a consequence.

Launching a "National Conversation" is just a way to pretend that you're actually going to do something about the NHS. Politicians are very good at talking, and very poor at actually doing anything.

@scottwales9178 people already pay for the NHS as a service through taxes, if you need to go the insurance route then they need to stop taxing taxpayers for a service they aren't using.
