हमें स्कूल में.. टेलीग्राम लिखना, Later लिखना,postcard लिखना सिखाया था जिसका आजतक कोई भी काम नहीं आया😂😂... फिर कॉलेज में civil engineering में हमको कागजों पर plan बनाना सिखाया Autocad staadpro जैसे सॉफ्टवेयर नहीं सिखाएं और Lab में पुराने मैकेनिकल टूल्स इस्तेमाल करना सिखाए जिनका आज तक भी काम नहीं आया😢 क्योंकि यह सारे उपकरण पुराने हो चुके हैं और आज कहीं चलते नहीं है😮... आज 2024 में इनका कहीं भी काम नहीं है नई नई चीज चलने लगी है यही पता चलता है कि भारत का शिक्षा व्यवस्था कितने पीछे चल रही है दुनिया हमसे कोसो आगे चल रही है😢

As a final year btech student, completing my final year major project.. I think Indian institutions are in dire need of ONOS. From a tier 3 college perspective we couldn't get access to even the most renowned IEEE membership, for a tier 1 it is absolutely free as they have their library of articles and research papers. I had to find pirated sites to get access or request our faculty to get access to the papers. Hope it will improve sometime soon

First they should allocate funds to publish! Generally funding agencies do not care about the publication fees. We struggle a lot because after 4-5 years of hard work, we have to check for free journals to publish. And generally all top rated journals aren't free to publish. - a researcher from IIT

It’s not ideal, but it’s possible. However, publishing in top-rated journals without paying is nearly impossible. Unfortunately, if you can’t publish in high-impact journals, your academic future is at risk. Great research happens in smaller universities too, but it often gets overlooked. I know there’s no point explaining this to a random stranger in a KZbin comment section-but here I am!

There used to be an organization called INSDOC, which used to subscribe to many journals. They are located in a building adjacent to DST in Qutub Institutional Area. I used to go there in the 1990s. However, their funding did not keep pace with the price increases by the likes of Springer Verlag, Bertelsman and Wiley et.. They went through many M&As and kept increasing prices. INSDOC incidentally is the National Science library. Also incidentally Journal and General are different words. You mean Journal..

Yes it is very necessary for people who are doing higher studies, phd and post doc...when i was doing msc only in university's server the int journals were available and there was always long que in the computers for those journals...or we have ask our seniors who were working in a abroad they had easy access...! Though a Russian website provided varieties of journals but that was illegal and piracy...!
