He was born in Scotland. I do know but I'm sure he is known there. He was invited to play at Althorpe, the former home of Princess Diana. He wrote a beautiful song for her.

The first time I saw him (back in the 80s), I said, "this guy is going to be a star". Well, I guess second banana in a 2nd rate band is as good as it gets. Larry, you could have done so much more. It's a shame the dice didn't roll for you.
