@bcpnatl6 жыл бұрын
Gina Ruby So you think sending those emails was a firing offense for a 21-year career employee? Do you think the president should be fired for all the times he hasn't stuck to his job, making fun of senators for their heritage, lying about meetings with Russia and saying he had no business interactions in Russia, appointing a foreign agent as National Security Advisor.........?
@regina10626 жыл бұрын
Billy C first, what emails? They were text messages. And second, those text messages implied that they had a plan to stop him from becoming president AND to try and get him removed. That is a big difference from how you are trying to contort all this to what you want it to look like versus what the facts show. Strzok was basically behaving in a treasonous way.
@bcpnatl6 жыл бұрын
Excuse me.... text messages. HUGE difference. It was pretty obvious that their conversation was in jest (at least about a "plan to get him removed"), and was not to be taken literally. I'm sure they were concerned (as citizens of the US) about what they were discovering, as they should be. That does not mean they are incapable of finding facts and being objective, however. Had this been on their private phone, there would be no problem, right? They are allowed to think whatever they want privately. So the whole thing boils down to their text message between each other on a department phone. A lapse in judgement, sure. But unless there had been a history of bad decisions, it is hardly a firing offense for a 21-year employee.
@paladan006 жыл бұрын
@@bcpnatl did you happen to read the IG report? Ohh and some of the text messages were on both their private phones, and I've worked with a lot of FBI, IRS agents and some U.S. Marshals, and that's not counting the fellow Officers on the departments I was working for and adjacent departments and the ones I met would never have sent those texts and the departments I worked for would have fired any officer that sent texts like that. Ohh and by the way the IG report (done by a Democrat appointed by Obama) stated that the texts showed bias (not a joke between lovers) especially in the Russian investigation (yeah I read the IG report) and any trained investigator that watched his testimony (yes I watched it on C-Span) would have said he was lying.
@bcpnatl6 жыл бұрын
Steven Brown It was my understanding that the director of the FBI office that handles disciplinary actions recommended a demotion and 60-day suspension. Granted it was not smart sending those on department phones, but it was in what was intended to be a private conversation, and we all have opinions. Regardless, I'd be willing to bet - if you subphoned the phones of the White House staff or people in the president's cabinet, you would find a lot worse than that. It just seems very harsh for a 22-year officer.
