The desert treasure part is interesting, I actually like how you can do whatever stone you want at whatever time so it does feel like 4 different quests. It turned out to be one of the most iconic and best quests in the game

DJ Hamze " it is clear that they have failed there task to attract new players to the game" actually i see new players all the time however the game isnt booming for 2 reasons 1. it peaked in popularity already back in 2006 and due to questionable things done between 2007-2010 it also left a a lot with a bad taste in there mouths over what they did and refuse to play or recommend the game to anyone cause they cant get over a mistake and that mistake being wilderness removal and free trade removal and 2. they do not advertise there game as much as they should tell me whens the last time you saw an rs ad on the internet ANYWHERE not to mention a lot of people use ad block as well if they want there game to grow they need to advertise what there doing right now there just relieing on word of mouth and that may have worked back in 2006 but now not only is it not the best way to do it but with the community split you have 1 person telling you hey play this game and then you have people like you spreading bs and saying dont play its shit when you know thats at best an OPINION "fact: if the gowers did not leave runescape would have grown and not decline since the time they left" real fact: if they had not removed the wilderness and taken care of bots as well as they do today people wouldnt have this stigma that rs is still a "bad game" i know a lot of people who dont play cause they still have the 2006 mindset "fact: i do not play runescape anymore and im not starting years worth of progress all over again on osrs no thanks" opinion and preference not a fact :P you CHOOSE not to and thats on you "fact: the gower brothers have great vision" vision yes judgement no *cough* wilderness removal *cough cough* "fact: the investors are leeching money from the playerbase the gowers created" wow a real fact for one :P lol and yes its the investors that are the ones that have TH in the game and solomens NOT jagex as long as you understand that we might just get along :P

God I miss the classic runescape game, nothing have I enjoyed more in this life (as far as gaming goes) then standing behind draenor bank and duel people. Very basic stuff but it was such an interractive and competitive style of playing. So whenever you got your bank cleaned you had to farm more gold, personally fishing was my forte, I got 96 cooking and 93 fishing before RS2 came out lol. Also leveling a 10def 99 att and Str dueler, killing 1 billion lowbie gnomes, occasionally chatting with a low level mage with high def and magic. Those where my early online gaming days and will stick with me forever and I miss it all the time.

Making it point and click was by far the best thing that set it aside from others. The fact that everything you do comes from your mouse makes you have to make decisions. Am I going to change prayer? Move? Or heal? It became the main stem for how challenging mechanics worked.. also very nice to be able to play the game basically without a keyboard. Which transitioned very nicely into mobile

Have a behringer audio interface and had to turn computer volume 100% and behringer 40%. Crazy low volume . Typically I hear all audio LOUDLY @ 10% computer volume 5% behringer lol

early runescape was the greatest game ill ever play. no crazy explosions and epic sfx, just good community and a great sense of growth through work and achievement. it was a game indicative of the time before everything became about profits. Now gaming addiction is sought through brain-bursting stimulus rather than the sense of community and simple plodding pleasure.

"What would you do different?" That is a really hard question for them to answer considering they are on their couch, I highly doubt he can straight up say "I really don't think they did what I would have done and they done messed it up." He kind of alluded that he would have done things a lot differently but iced it nicely. Games good still, but I think the Gowers had a better plan overall.

Wish they hooked up a mic to each person. So hard to hear them while also keeping the audio balanced so it doesnt hurt your ears when the mic holder talks. The british english is also hard to understand sometimes. Not a surprise here, jagax doesnt spend any money on development or quality. All money goes to their banker masters.
