Great update. Layout looks superb and has progressed massively since I last watched. Nice idea on how to make the roads, certainly does look better than the standard filler option.

Great update matey really enjoyed it, totally agree on those daylight tubes too... i bought them for my loft when i had Peakdale and they turned the setup an odd blue colour so took them straight out and leaned them all up in the corner there probably still up there now in that house lol hard standing looks great too, i optedfor plasti card on mine but it was straight sections were i covered the track so wasn't a difficult job, Cheers, Jon.

Cheers mate , glad you enjoyed it ! I’m happy with the lighting now . Hard standing has turned out well - I’ve seen peakdale in the flesh a few times, Dan is a good mate of mine so I normally go and say hello when he’s down in Bristol and run some stuff !

Concrete is looking great! BTW, for months now, I've thought your station reminds me very much of High Street station in Glasgow. It gives me the "feeling" of that every time I see your videos. High Street is a very 70's type of station. You should have a look at it. I think it fits your criteria quite well. Great job. Be lucky! All the best. :)

Hi Marcus - It was good to see the update and what you have been doing. I agree 3D printing corner products are excellent I am delighted with what I got from them. And the same with Accurascale I got a Blue Circle Cement wagon and was so impressed I got a pack of 3 . And have pre ordered a Class 37 from them plus other wagons. I like their buffer stops too. And a great sound from your 37 there !!. I too would be interested in how you do the hard standing should you be doing a demo . Cheers Kev

You definitely can’t complain at what accurascale are doing . It’s on another level . The PFA wagons are quite simply the best piece of rolling stock on the layout now !

Quick q re the wet mix concrete....did you put it straight down onto the baseboard or did you have to seal the baseboard first mate? I’d be interested in the how to for the hand standing please. As for the livestream....Wednesday or Thursday evenings are good! 🙂

Tase It is straight onto the baseboards . Worth noting though the boards have been up 7 years , so I know how they behave . Sealing the wood certainly would be good practice though.

Brilliant update, which sound clip did you use in the 37? I have also gone with the PM10D as they are more budget friendly than some other brands - are you using them via DCC or manual switches?

Fantastic layout mate can you tell me the length of the layout and how wide is it as in the separate sides of the layout looks around 3 feet but my measurements is usually well out 😂

The over all layout is 26ft long by 8ft wide, and the scenic boards are 2ft wide.
