I saw it in the first week when it came out and when they are talking about those scenes, they all came back, neatly and beautifully, especially Lizzy funeral, they were majestically shot. The whole film is brilliant, frame by frame, very humanistic at the core.

We're lucky to still have these two genius of the celluloid, who have influenced over other people who dream of becoming filmmakers. In fact, both Spielberg as Scorsese, emerged during the 70's years, which were the greatest time of American movies ever according to Quentin Tarantino.

Very insightful. I'm really glad Spielberg asked about the radio show epilogue. That scene was a surprising but inspired choice. 15:35 - Spielberg can't think Scorsese made The Godfather, can he?

Except that Spielberg is the highest grossing film director in history with two Oscars and Scorsese keeps on making the same old tired gangster movies over and over.....

Martin Scorese is easily the most pretentious and overrated film director in history. HIs films simply do not click for the majority of filmgoers. most of Scorsese's films tank at the box office because his films are for a niche audiences. It seems that Quentin Tarrentino has take Scorsese's place in the crime film market these days.

It feels like I’m reading a Taylor Swift fan talk about how she’s the greatest artist because she’s been #1 on the charts the longest. What a sad joke. For all the money in the world, I’d never trade for your poverty of spirit.
