There's probably a website somewhere that has this data (like video games copies sold by year, for example wikipedia has the current ones), but other than that it's probably just a bunch of googling, I wouldn't say these videos are super accurate or trustworthy, they are just made for entertainment and views.

Look at it like this, we all will have to start our accounts from scratch making us all vulnerable & we will be forced to buy atleast $100 worth of shark cards atleast in the beginning to get started! So I predict GTA Online 2 to sell $100 worth of shark cards to around 25 million of us equaling more than $2.5 Billion! All this in the 1st 1-2 years after release!
