That brought back some memories, riding my TV175 more than 50yrs ago. Still remember the reg plate 90YKL🙂

I can see you’re ready to grab that clutch...old habits, I do it to this day and I haven’t been on a two stroke since 1988

Always wary of the old heat seizure. Can't beat the feeling of a 65mph back wheel lock before you can pull in the clutch. It clears your nasal passages better than any Vic ointment.

Even with the nicasil barrel a lot go pop which is why most now ride Royal Alloys. I'm a motorcyclist but have seen many awaiting RAC pick up.

I've been running the same nicasil barrel for 19 years still on original plating. On 4th piston now, keep maintaining and keep riding. Chinese auto Scomadi copies have zero interest for me.

@@kevinhagen7808 100% agree Kevin. I’ve got a clunky 40 year old Boxer BMW. There’s new retro versions but sitting on an old Bavarian bruiser is a blast!

I had one back in the 60's , Plenty of go but the brakes were truly awful. I wish I had it now.
