The second time I watched Madz, last night here at Sacramento, CA. Congrats sa inyo ha. Sir Mark, di pala ko nagpakilala, im JP Vale from UST Singers. Hehe. Bigla na lang kc ako nagpa-picture sa iyo. Weng bakit ka naman agad nagpalit ng barong e magpapapicture pa ako sa yo. Naguguluhan ako sa mga nagcocomment, pinag-aaway tayo, mga ust singers pa naman yung ibang nag-host sa inyo dito sa US lalo na sa California. Pero congrats lalo na kay Weng, you always make our country really proud.

Oo nga po. di masu2kat kung gaano sila ka-down to earth. naalala ko po. after ng MADZ greatest hits II, pumunta kmi sa backstage after the concert (as usually hppns), npkadown to earth nila, di mo iisipin na sila yung kumanta sa concert earlier ^^, bilib tlga ako dun. picture2, at nkipagharutan pa nga e... ^^, maliban sa boses at "musical perfection" (hehe) nla, mas bilib ako sa pkikisama nila sa mga followers nila. MOre power at more blessing sa MADZ!!!

@restyupft1 they played another version of the National Anthem... there were interludes between stanzas... the one used is of a different arrangement than the original version Julian Felipe wrote; Madz was singing the original arrangement... what joy!

wag po naman masyadong O.A. at mag overboard sa pagpopori nyo, at please wag po mayabang. nakakasira po yan sa promotion ng ating mga artist/singers kapag ganyan. at please po wag nyo liitin ang mga ibang choral group sa ibang bansa, please acknowledge nyo naman sila at give respect. kapag may respect at acknoledgement tiyak na talagang rerespetohin rin tayo(our choral group) ng nga ibang lahi.

I have no doubt that the Madz can win the whole thing again. However, they're barred from joining any of the six EGP member-competitions for two years (or is it three? correct me if I'm wrong), so it's gonna be some time til we see them again at the EGP. I hope the next time they join, they go up against APZ Tone Tomsic (the other two-time EGP winner) so that all doubts are laid to rest as to what really is the world's best choir. Go Madz! Mabuhay kayo!

hindi nila kasalanan yung nangyari sa pagkanta ng national anthem. the competition organizers played an arrangement that featured a quarter note break between stanzas (when there should have been none). try to listen carefully to the music and you'll realize that. it explains why some madz members looked so perplexed at times. anyway, i doubt a choir as decorated and as accomplished as the madz would mess up something as basic as the country's national anthem.
