I believe from past interviews that he said that when he was a kid his goal was always to land a 4A. And I saw that in another one that his full goal was to land 4A then he will walk out. Idk but ik that was his goal/wish was to land an 4A

@@alexandracamacho2521 Alexandra, thank you for your answer. Oh, is that so? Since he was a kid he really wished that ? Well, that is some goal to fulfill in life! Even if I know the moment he retires will come one day I would like him to continue a little even after he landed 4A but I guess he knows better after all. I wish him to go all the way with the 4A and stay in health. God bless him and let's wish him all the luck in the world with this dream

This year at World Championship after the free programm; in press confenence he said that he has been practising the 4A and he might be able to do it in Beijing Olympic! I am looking forward to that!

本当にすごいのは、誰も見ていない練習では、この動画の何百倍ものジャンプを重ね、それと同じ数だけ ''なぜ成功しない？” の思いを抱え、しかもそれを転べば痛いと判っている氷の上でトライしているその執念だと思う。 成功する確証などない、なのに自らの意思で挑み続けるその直向さに感動させられる。

Does he still use the Pattern 99 Revolutions? If so, he's likely crashing due to the flawed design of the blades since they are beveled and almost completely missing a toe pick, or landing directly onto the blades.

@@irak6534 i think the reason to that is because he's also training for the 4a, like, when yuzuru was working on his quad lutz, he had made mistakes with a triple lutz because of what he's been working on,, i probably make no sense but yeah

Come on he probably knew that he wasn't going to land any. He explained in an interview that he knew he wouldn't win after the short program so he wanted to leave something special in this rink(the rink where Arakawa got her Olympic gold medal). And he took advantage of the fact that his coach wasn't there cause if Brian or Ghisland is here they'll definitely not allow him to do this

Of course he wasn’t going to land them it’s a 4A nobody has ever done that before, landing a 4A is one of Yuzu’s goals, Nathan is a really good skater, doing so many quads it’s something amazing, but skating it’s not all about jumps, I think Nathan is the one who still has to outdo Yuzu, not just in jumps, I know he’ll get there, he is a lot younger and his career is far from ending soon, but right now I don’t think he is better than Yuzu I don’t mean to start a fight here 😅 they’re both incredible skaters and they respect each other a lot, so please don’t make comments like this
