GPI M-Series How to Clean or Replace Bypass Poppet

I have pumped over 6600 gallons of diesel though my gpi pump but the other day it wouldn’t prime. Not even try to prime. So I took it all apart and looked for places it could be pulling air but couldn’t find any. Then I looked at this part and found the O-ring was missing. I grabbed an O-ring from my harbor freight kit and it works like new.

Having that problem now the pump not priming what can i do
