@I_Punch_Demons3 жыл бұрын
Something I found for recording software is that you need to run the software as "administrator". Because this will prioritise the software first and then the game. Resulting in smoother recording. At least this works for me. For note I have a RTX 3080 and AMD 3800x. 32 gigs of ram at CL15

Awesome video! I made the track, and it's so great to see it presented like this :) Fun fact: This project started in 2009, and shortly after received some assistance from one of the folks from the original and abandoned GPL version. If you drive way too far away from the track you can find one or two houses from their unreleased GPL project, which they allowed me to use to bootstrap my own version of the track. The earliest versions I released had many more of the GPL houses/buildings included. Another fun fact, the willow trees in the track are from photographs i took of willows in the camping grounds in the centre of the circuit, by the river. Except for one, which is from just to the left at Tannery Corner. The poplar trees are all authentic Longford trackside poplar trees. The large one at the start finish line is the actual tree, another is from the down-hill section after turn 1, and the smaller one is from the paddock area. They've aged a bit. And the large pine inside the final turn is the actual large pine. Several of the buildings were also photographed and turned into the models, including the Pub, which is still active as a pub :) Thanks for the video :)

WOOHOOO!!! You finally found the original 1st (mark [rF]2) masterpiece of w00ch00! Dunno if you found it in my comments on Krunch's Gnoo Blas clip a while back or on the more recent clip of yours featuring his car mod, or found it on your own & I dont care- Im just glad you found it! ;) The ONLY thing that I don't like about Longford is that he never finished the track that he started before it; Lobethal, South Australia @13.9km/8.6m :v ;) 1st released for the original rFactor(1), Longford was the track that landed w00ch00 a job with ISI & why the rFactor2 version of his track is practically a 'factory release'. The first version has 3 different weather/lighting conditions as well as roadside objects having mass similar to Targa Florio. Linked is some info on the Lobethal track along with a pair of W.I.P clips from w00ch00's own YT channel... What an epic track that would have been if finished! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lobethal_Circuit kzbin.info/www/bejne/noLMqI1oZrCco6s kzbin.info/www/bejne/d6vTqXt5lrCWnLs Thank you for your content, it's REALLY given me the urge to get back to track building- I always preferred doing the road/terrain 'meshwork' & AIW lines than the actual decorating! :v Some of my best AIW's would have to be Johannes Rojola's Cannonball Run who went on to create 'My Summer Car' sim & Dmz's Mount Arrowsmith... Anyway, Bob's Track Builder is open again as I fall back into the rabbit-hole of 'triangle-land' once more... :v Cheers! ;)

Yeah, I go back and watch those Lobethal videos every once in a while. I mean, even as a WiP, it certainly looks mad enough. Attacking a finished version in anger alone, or doing a race there with those vintage machines, would be insane, but a hell of a lot of fun to watch. And though not as high on my list of tracks that I'd love to see properly made, I have thought that the public road circuit at Southport (1954 Australian GP) looks fairly interesting as well. I just wish I had the eyesight for doing some serious track-making myself.

Wonderful video as always. Love this track. On a holiday to Tassie a year ago, the family and I spent an enjoyable hour or so in Longford tracing the remains of the ciruit. Sadly King's Bridge doesn't exist any more, and an area near the Long Bridge seems to be closed off, so you can't do the whole lap any more. We were confronted by an angry rooster on the now dead end going backwards to Long Bridge from Newry Corner. The surrounds are so peaceful and idyllic it can be difficult to imagine it in it's racing prime. The rfactor2 version is a great recreation, my only point would be that in real life the hump coming up to the pub at Longford corner is much more sudden and steep (about 2m high over about 8m length), and would probably require pre-emptive braking.

Yeah if you can master driving a car like this, Then most other cars will be a lot easier for you, In the rain you will gain even more skills, Quality video tho bro, I began sim racing stupidly using console, Now I'm skint I can't afford a PC I needs for sim racing, I'm going to see about paying instalments instead, Console sim racing is so limited I'm getting bored, I can't do GT sport, I need full on simulation, Fingers crossed tho I will be upgrading to the PC soon, Can finally enter some proper races, The lobbies on AC are good bit yeah I'm getting bored of the same tracks, AC on the PC is loaded, I don't understand if it's available for the PC why not console after all isn't a console a computer aswell, But yeah stroll on when I can upgrade to the PC....
