Quick question: Are you getting the microphone icon on your browser app, or are you using a ChatGPT mobile app? I haven't seen the icon when using Chrome on my Windows desktop. By the way, I noticed your freehand annotations within the video. Are you using a Wacom tablet? (My reason for asking is I co-founded the company 35 years ago.)

Hey Ron! I am using the Voicewave extension to get that microphone: chromewebstore.google.com/detail/voicewave-chatgpt-voice-c/baahncfnjojaofhdmdfkpeadigoemkif And I am not using a Wacom tablet, I am using an old Android tablet and streaming my desktop to it. I do have a cheap tablet, not a wacom, but I am not good at using the mouse to put the annotations where I want them. I need to practice, I guess.

I can confirm the new 4o Mac app. The opportunity to download is presented right about the prompt box. With this new ChatGPT version why should I continue paying for V4 or Turbo? The free version of 40 is already pretty fast and I don't create my own GPTs that often. So why keep the paid version?

I have a Mac with Apple silicone. But where can I find that desktop app? I tried logging out and in again; nothing about an app.

I am sorry that the link is not showing as I read it would. This thread says that a lot of people do not have it yet, but one person shows that a toast pops up on screen when you get access to it: community.openai.com/t/downloading-the-new-desktop-app-for-chatgpt/746857/46 I wish OpenAI would be more clear in their rollouts. This one is messy.

The voice chat works on the app now. The little headphones icon on the bottom right.

icon is tere but it still uses the old voice , you can not interrupt it by using your own voice and it cant sing and all that. we have to wait a few weeks.
