Fair comment. The creative releases currently are really most useful to creatives that work with image, video, audio. I do thing that soon we will hit a threshold where it unlocks a completely unexpected use case for many more and my hope is that by being informed about all of these incremental changes will help people understand the full picture of how we gor “here” rather then just being perplexed. Also by playing with these tools you are building niche skillsets that almost nobody has which might unlock some unexpected possibilities even within more traditional roles. For example my power points now are awesome because I know hot to utilize all this. Bottom line, it’s not vaporware but it might need some creativity to integrate today and our mission with the ai advantage is to make some of those possibilities obvious.

I am not a paid user of ChatGPT yet, however I started noticing subtle things in the free voice feature, especially while reading long texts. Things like page turn sounds and some ambient sounds like crackling fire or thunder. Are these new updates or they were always there?

so i got the update this morning here’s the play space we need to work out how it sings. if you ask for a song you get a refusal but i had a song within the first context window the key is reading Simulators by Janus the simulacra you summon can sing if it is into the role

How many times can they release the voice? This is the 2nd time, and 99.9% of us don't have it, lol. Maybe the third time you influencers might get to try it? It almost seems like these companies need to be held to some kind standard when they "release" new products. I realize open ai isn't publicly traded, but google is, and they do the same thing.
