Great video. Right on time for my project. I am setting up Win Server RDS for a customer’s remote access. (Business apps. W/o tweaking there is a noticeable performance lag that is unacceptable) Please confirm: Your configuration recommendations for GPU acceleration removes the need to purchase the Nvidia VDI license. I was working on the assumption that the Nvidia license (and drivers) enabled the pass through acceleration.

I confirm! I only have one tip, and it is very important, the highest end GPUs, like the 6000 Ada or 5000 Ada, they work perfectly for the configurations on this video, but they may not work when using Proxmox or other virtual environments. As they will probably require additional licensing. Thanks for watching!

Is this going to be better than using Parsec? That app has been the smoothest for me

In terms of raw performance for gaming or very rich multimedia, Parsec is probably still a bit ahead. But I think the features and availability of Windows RDP make it the best overall solution. Not only for individuals, but also scalable for large enterprises. In my personal opinion Microsoft RDP is much better. Thanks for watching!

Use tailscale and set it up properly to get p2p connection with the settings motioned in videos it works very fast.

muy poco la verdad Ernesto. Yo lo he probado hasta usando VPNs con muy baja bandwith de conexion y funciona de maravilla! Saludos!!!
