The rx580 is probably the best gpu to be paired with 3470 without having any significant bottlenecks / performance dips. Gameplay seemed quite smooth without stutters

i would recommend not to do cause it will create insane bottleneck. I would recommend if your on a budget save some money on a gpu a bit and go for a better processor. Cause this pair will just waste the gpus actual power.

Yes, I did get the same FPS in the same place he did, but in some places you can notice significant FPS drops. If u dont like seeing fps drops it will be more playable if u lock your fps around 40 or even 30

How did you get to run it so smooth? I have almost the same specs: i5 3570k and rx 590 gme with 16gb dual channel ram but I get frame drops and sometimes stutters on my rdr2 and spiderman remastered, my resident evil 2 was smooth though. It seems that open world games causes my fps to drop and cause stutters and little freezing. What should I do? If there are settings that I should turn on in amd control panel pls let me know cuz I want smooth experience too since all I play is mostly open world games.

Maybe your gpu is the one's holding back and I would say there is a lot version of rx580 . Some rx580 are just same as Rx 570 so yeah . Try to overclock it

Most game now are really use a lot of ram , your 12gb ram won't be able to hold it. Upgrade your ram if possible. Older ram are now cheap nowadays. 16gb will be a sweet spot without breaking your banks .
