For people like me eagerly waiting to upgrade from a 1080, this launch is horrible. Tariffs on the horizon, previous generation being completely sold out everywhere, and the new generation basically available to scalpers and people willing to pay double MSRP. Seriously considering jumping back to consoles for games.

The main reason that 4070 super price went up is because people are finding out through reviews & benchmarks, the NVidia 5000 series performance isn't actually all they claimed ithem to be. Personally I'm not gonna upgrade my rig for another while yet, and I'm running a 5700x & rtx 3070ti.

Going by the exurbanite pricing from AIB vendors on the 5080 and 5090, the 5070 will be hundreds more than MSRP. I would wait for the mid cycle refresh to see what gets released. Or, wait until March when the Radeon cards are released and it appears they have a lot of stock on the shelves.
