I stood next to Tim Blake Nelson on the #1 train in NYC for a few stops once. I looked at him. He looked at me. He could tell I knew who he was....which is the exact reason why I let the man be. Just nodded my head. He did the same. I really like this guy. Loaded with cool. So not full of himself. Very accomplished.

Snuffian Or any type of hero. There actually are no villains in the graphic novel, but 'comic book heroes' that are drawn to their logical conclusions. A 'villain' may perhaps viewed to be Adrian Veidt, but he was supposed to be an idealistic supernaturally intelligent hero saving billions of lives (maybe in his mind), by secretly sacrificing millions... Is he then a hero or a villain?

Tim Blake Nelson is one of the most underrated actors. He absolutely disappears in roles. He was a God in the Ballad of Buster Scruggs as Buster Scruggs a.k.a. the San Saba Songbird. Quotes like, “Don't let my white duds and pleasant demeanor fool ya. I, too, have been known to violate the statutes of man... and not a few of the laws of the Almighty!” 😆

Tim Blake is an incredibly talented and intelligent actor. His range and ability to disappear into a character is truly impressive. What sets him apart, however, is his humility. Despite his obvious gifts, he remains humble and grounded. It is a surprise to find such a skilled actor who is also so down-to-earth. Tim is one of the best character actors to have ever existed, and it is a pleasure to watch him on screen. He is a true master of his craft.

His rendition of "In the Jailhouse now" was really good in my opinion... especially being that he is an actor, not a musician, songwriter, or singer. This is actually the first interview I have seen with him, and his manner of speech isn't anything like I imagined, obviously because I was prejudiced in my expectations because of his O' Brother role. He did that Southern drawl so perfectly, and I should be a decent judge of it considering I have always lived here in Arkansas. His character in this Watchmen series, I just love him in it man, might have been my favorite character in the series.

Such a great actor and underrated, there’s certain supporting actors that take it seriously and heighten everyone around them and the flick wouldn’t be the same without them. Just watched Old Henry and it’s fantastic and does a amazing job!

I absolutely love TBN as a performer. It is refreshing to see that as a person he is also great. He is so humble about his own accomplishments and abilities while being very generous and kind in his comments about his coworkers. Very nice to see these qualities in a talented and successful person.

It's crazy to hear Tim say that he almost turned down the role of Delmar in O' Brother because he thought his performance might not hold up.... Good thing he said yes to that role because I can't see anyone else doing it as well as him. He totally killed it! So did Clooney AND so did John Turturro. All three were totally perfect in their roles and none could be replaced without tarnishing that gem of a film!!!

You can't really beat that casting; Turturro and Nelson are such massive supporting actors, Clooney must've been thrilled and a little apprehensive when he took his part.
