My Mom always hatches eggs! The chicks are so sweet when they are little! plus I love when they grow and make eggs to make omelets!

Do the incubator come with the egg tray or do you have to buy them individually
@ParagonRidgeRanch8 ай бұрын
they are a separate purchase.

When should you move them down to the hatch tray? Day 18? 19?
@ParagonRidgeRanch4 жыл бұрын
Most people put the in lock down on day 17 or 18

How do staggered hatching go?
@ParagonRidgeRanch4 жыл бұрын
Hi Pat! I do dry hatched so staggering is never an issue for me. I put the eggs in the lockdown tray at the bottom that is still while all the stacked trays can still rotate.

@@ParagonRidgeRanch if you don’t do dry hatching the. The humidity I guess can only favour one side. Either higher for hatching, or lower for incubating. Am I correct in saying this? Thanks for the video helpful as I’m looking at maybe getting one

I’m confused. How does this work when the eggs on the first phase need the humidity to be 45-55 but the eggs hatching need it to be 55- up. So how do you do both at the same time?
@ParagonRidgeRanch4 жыл бұрын
I do dry hatches always;) they are so much more successful for me. Put them in and forget about them. No messing with humidity ever, I have higher hatch rates this way too;)

@@ParagonRidgeRanch oh so dry hatch just means you put them in and don’t add no water and let em go?! Has this method worked for any other incubators then?

How do you dry hatch ?
@westlee16263 жыл бұрын
@@dustinlane9754 basically dry hatching means. No water is added until the last three days. So basically only add water when it’s the hatching days.
@ParagonRidgeRanch3 жыл бұрын
I used the same method in my foam incubators as well, with both red plugs out so the humidity from the house is circulated;)
