@NeoGodHand 5 жыл бұрын
Holyfield basically did just that. Smothered Tyson, crowded him and pushed him back. Tyson often fought in a "squared up" stance, meaning your feet are basically side by side instead of one behind the other diagonally. It helps you generate great power with both hands but you're weak to being pushed back. Tyson couldn't fight off the back foot (cause he never needed to) and failed to cut angles defensively, so he paid the price.

I was just thinking that. As a kid, I was scared to death of Mike Tyson. He seemed like more than a mere human, but like an untamed, violent, rampaging beast that will destroy anyone and anything that crossed his path. He was scary.... and he beat some of his opponents before he even entered the ring because of how intimidating he was. Some of his opponents were scared to death of him before they even entered the ring with him. Now, to see him like this.... calm, chill, easygoing, funny, and nice... seems like a totally different person. Now I'd like to meet him some day.

@@sonofbattles It's a little more than just the lisp kiddo. I can't expect everyone on the internet to be capable of basic behavioral psychology nor should I be expected to explain it to you, but needless to say Mike shows quite a few signs of severe brain damage and his recently acquired passive attitude is just one of those signs. He's literally had the aggression beat out of him over time. Though, given you'd like to blame his personality change on the consumption of mind-altering plants I'm guessing the only one here to make assumptions and start arguments is you.
