I'm surprised that no mention was made of the running social commentary. These kids' problems often run deeper than "they're unmotivated." They range from poverty to bullying. Hell, the very existence of Class E shows a willingness to sacrifice the individual if it benefits the whole.

Assassination classroom is extremely simple and well done. Even though assclass has its flaws, the author did not create something pretentious nor too simple. It has 2-3 good characters, an enjoyable plot, some funny moments and a really food finale. It is not the best anime ever created, but it's something I'd recommend to quite everyone due to its "semplicity", it managed to be simple, even if it is about 15 yo who save the world against a yellow octopus, mad scientists and dope assassins. I have sweet memories of assassination classroom, still remember the time when I cried the most in my entire life lol.

SPOILERS UP AHEAD: I absolutely adore how they ended Assassination Classroom. Midway through the series I started wondering how exactly they would end the show. A successful assassination attempt would've been too predictable and cliche and considering how fond the students were of Korosensei past the midway point, it wouldn't have even made sense IMO. A flat out failed assassination attempt wouldn't be an option either unless accompanied with some odd round-about plot-twist. So actually using the doctor's arc and his technological advancements as a way to trap Korosensei alongside with the considerable bounty on Koro-Sensei's to give the students and Korosensei the motive to finish him off themselves was a surprisingly well done and impactful ending to the show. Also even though we didn't get to see every student's ending, I really liked how they used the students who we didn't get to know their endings of to tell the endings of the other students. For some reason that really helped bring closure to the ending of the show. I'd give it a solid 9/10 with the ending being a 10/10 no doubt.
@anab32135 жыл бұрын
Couldn't agree more. I don't think the show could've had a better ending than this. Everything was wrapped up so perfectly and it's honestly one of the most satisfying endings to anything I've ever seen. I think it could have done without the whole "actually there's only a 1% chance that he blows up" - or maybe make it sound less than that, because frankly, a 1% chance of destroying the entire world is still HUGE. It would have been interesting to see them struggle more with this genuine dilemma, that he's not at fault but still his life is a danger to the world. But regardless of that, it ended in the same place anyway, and the actual ending was indeed perfect.
@V1G4M13 жыл бұрын
@@HaganeNoGijutsushi that was the whole point of the 1% tho. for the students that got to know this amazing teacher, 1% was miniscule enough to wish for him to live, for korosensei and the world, the risk was way too high.

No joke, Assassination Classroom is my favorite manga/anime series _ever_ . There's just something so fresh, earnest, and original about it. It's an absurd premise, but it never feels like a gimmick or that it's trying to pander to a more mainstream audience. It's an unexpectedly human story about personal growth that just so happens to tie in assassination in an almost seamless way. I hope to see more work from the author Matsui Yusei someday. Shameless shoutout to my favorite E-class student, Fuwa Yuzuki, the manga fan that breaks the fourth wall. Love that girl.

Honestly, I feel like the character development for everyone in that class is quite decent. A 24 episode series with this many characters is almost unprecedented. Even halfway through the show, I am confident to say that I know the distinct attributes of EVERY character. I would say that the character development of this show is one of the best especially considering how they didn't purposefully dedicate entire episodes to any side characters.

the thing about korosensei that had me come back to this series at least three times (and i plan to watch it again at some point) is that he reminds me of all the best teachers i had. Another good note about AssClass is that this is one of the few recent animes that actually was adapted from start to finish from the manga. They didn't make an anime-only ending, and they didn't just leave off the anime with a "potential" next season without ever making said next season. They adapted all of the manga, and pretty much stayed true to it, and it's amazing. PLEASE tho I cannot recommend highly enough to read Yusei Matsui-s first serialized manga, Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro. Madhouse did make an anime of it in 2009, but it doesn't do justice to the masterpiece of the manga. If you like AssClass, MTNN is a great read. And it is a mystery manga that lets the reader figure things out for themselves before the reveal.

This series is surprisingly good for sure, but you really need to watch both seasons to get the full experience which to some can be a big commitment depending on how the comedy lands with each individual. I really wish you someday review Erin or even Kaiba would do.

The best way to describe an amazing anime is that when it finishes, you feel content and happy, but you feel empty because it ended. Not in a bad way, it's just something so amazing is now done and you want to fill that hole it left with something just as amazing. I have felt that with two great animes to memory: this and hunterxhunter. That is a sign of a great anime, something soo great that when it ends, nothing can fill that gap, that is why I love assassination classroom.

Me and my brother binged it. We both cried at the second to last episode and needed a break before watching the final episode and we sat in silence

i watched this in 8th grade and loved it, it was my favorite, and now rewatching it as a senior in HS, can definitely still reassure that it’s my favorite. it’s just so good, the characters are relatable, it’s a good balance of funny and serious, and even when it’s bad it’s still good. (like, campy bad? idk how to explain it just get my gist please) i honestly think i appreciate it even more now that i’m older while watching it a second time. (Edit: though i also gotta admit, the anime did me dirty by not giving maehara his storyline like they did in the manga. he’s always been my favorite.)

I loved this show so much I started making a full cosplay of Korosensei before I'd even seen the whole thing. I had to sit on part of the design for a while kuz I came up with it in February and lemmie tell ya, no store carries pool noodles in February lol.

Please review Classroom of the Elite. It's made by the same studio and it's sooo good. Also the main character is probably the most unique and interesting in its genre
