GR COROLLA front bumper replacement | Tips and trick | GR corolla
In this video I will go through the process of how to remove the front bumper and show tips and tricks along the way to help anyone wanting or needing to remove it for any reason. I was going to be doing several things behind the grill and bumper so removing it was much easier. The process is straight forward and is not terribly difficult but take your time and follow my tips, this will make it simple and easy.
**EDIT** - Simple trick I figured out for the lower part of the bumper by the tire in the wheel well. This was a tricky one to take apart but if you insert a small flathead screwdriver into it and twist it will pop it apart quick and easy!

Isn't that scary popping off front clip? So why did u pull the bumper? Where do u get push pins for Toyotas? I bought a box from Amazon & most don't fit. Are they metric? I need to know exact part number or something. Your Corolla looks so good.❤👍

It wasn't too bad but I've removed a lot of bumpers. 🤣 I'll order some addition small push pins from Toyota. I need to just swing by a dealership parts department and grab some to have on hand. Those are really small pins so I'm not so sure how available they are and they are cheap for a handful of them. I'll try and remember to post the part number after I get it tomorrow. And thanks for the love for my car. 😍

It’s interesting for the air intake on the Core, that the inlet has no connection, my circuit has it and I recently upgraded to the GR air intake

@@jimsgaragetoys the air intake and the air inlet on your Core don’t meet, you can see it on the video and you mentioned, on my Circuit they connect, there’s no gap because the air intake fit into the air inlet.

did you notice any difference with the gr intake? I've can't decide if its worth the price, and I've seen its low as 350 shipped

Those two front clips seem a pain. Did you just end up having to muscle them apart? I plan on adding a intercooler sometime this summer, so this was a big help.

Do you mean the lower one on each side of the wheel well? It came apart with a steady pressure and popped. Many of these things are the hardest to do the first time you have to take them apart. I'll have to take it off again soon as I have a matte forged carbon fiber piece that installs around the front emblem to install after it arrives. Others that have installed it have said to remove the bumper to get to it. I've got an idea to try next time to see if they makes it easier and I'll try to update you.

As an update for you, if you take a small flat head screwdriver and insert it and twist, it will pop right off, I learned this trick the next time I did it, very quick and easy!
