the GR Yaris is an instant classic. Crazy how a Yaris can become a dream car lol.
@Mexxx653 жыл бұрын
In whose dream again? Maybe a dream for a few young die-hard rally fan enthusiasts. But for the more mature car buff, we've seen so many of these rally specials come and.....go.....next...a better looking one would be nice..not this ugly toad. And the only thing she was wearing out in the car, was the racing handbrake hooked up to the rear wheels, to induce ALL the drifting.

@ciello___83074 жыл бұрын
@@GigaSimpUwU Its not that simple. the 2j is two decades old. its heavy as hell and it doesnt fit modern emissions regulations and is too long to fit into their fwd platforms. Its fine for a track car like this but toyota doesn't have any factories or modern tooling to mass produce it since they haven't made one in 20 years. That kind of thing costs millions of dollars. Plus if you want a built 2J like this theres plenty of aftermarket companies like HKS, Cusco, Titan motorsports that sell built 2js. a Stock 2jz isn't anywhere near what this is

900 HP on a Yaris wheelbase must be a bit tricky, and unforgiving. 🤔 Edit: 2560mm wheelbase. RPS13 is 2475mm. I guess not then.
@buttcheakyo4 жыл бұрын
Hatches always give the impression that they are shorter! Asbos Corolla was the same way, many people were like “that’s dumb the wheelbase is too short” not knowing that it was much longer than an s13
@shamil8084 жыл бұрын
The thing is the Corolla is a compact car, and the Yaris is a subcompact car/supermini. You'd expect much smaller dimensions, which is why I, and a lot of others, thought this car's wheelbase must've been super short. But I guess the longer wheelbase and wider track is how the manufacturers maximize interior space while keeping the body size to a minimum.
@buttcheakyo4 жыл бұрын
@@shamil808 yeah that was what I was eluding too, that hatches look shorter while also actually having longer wheelbase. Even a tiny sub compact hatch will have a longer wheel base than most coupes just because of where the wheels are relative to where the car ends. Total mind fuck
@gwot4 жыл бұрын
most subcompact have really long wheelbases, to create more interior space, and the rear wheels are at the rear of the trunk instead of the front.

Can anyone plz tell what is the use of the rod that she pull before drift
@TheEtherea3 жыл бұрын
It's called a hydraulic E-brake, it's connected to 2 brakes on rear wheels (usually installed as a second separate set of brakes and it's mostly a separate braking line not connected to regular brake system) and is used to lock rear wheels to initiate a slide, or lock wheels in general, for example when you want to launch fast on high RPM. If I'm not mistaken they were originally used in rally and later found their way to drifting. The stick itself can be of any shape and form it's just whatever is comfortable for you. I had mine built from a Katana replica, as quite many used to do in Japan, but it wasn't a competition car.
