I liked the Hamburg 83 team 👍 this side went on to beat Juventus in the final and were heavy underdogs at the time ! And they also won the Bundesliga in the same year !! A physical resilient team with Hrubesch ,Magath and Kaltz the backbone and all internationals they were a descent team one of the best teams in Europe during the early 80s I'd enjoyed watching them 😊

I wouldn't go that far. He spilled Platinis free kick in 1984. He passed the ball back to Armstrong in 1982 and here he's flapping about like a clown walking across a minefield. Maybe the pressure got to him at times.

Real was a strong team and only playing with basque boys.

Hamburg were twice finalists in 1980 and 1983 but that being said there was nothing in this game that makes me think that Villa or Liverpool could not have won here. Strange competition that season.

Pues si , una pena , pero el Hamburgo era mejor , aunque fuera el segundo gol de ellos en fuera de juego tuvieron más ocasiones
