I did a flip flop wreath for my sister cuz all she wears are flip flops!!!! Even in the winter!!! She ONLY wears shoes when she REALLY HAS to!! It was fun making that wreath for her. She puts it on her back door cuz that's the door she uses all the time. Then I just made her a grapevine wreath with sunflowers to hang on her tree in her front yard. She is not crafty, but I am and she loves it when I make her things. I appreciate all you DIYers so that I can make things. You all make the coolest things!!!! Thank you!!!!

Great ideas Shannon! I wore flip flops for years growing up and even into my teens and high school years I wore those hard rubber sole ones but the part you put your feet on were a straw like material. Since my leg break and ankle break I can no longer wear them. At the Jersey shore near where my grandmother's beach house is the one neighbor is a flip flop freak my uncles called her bit I was always interested in her whimsical designs. She had a brand new fense put up in her side yard on 2019 and every other foot (no pun intended) she had a pair of flip flops hung on the fense. I do not know how she attached them but there were hundreds and tastefully arranged. I wanted to go take a photo but the last 2 days it rained si my mom and I never took our evening walk. On the eimans front porch on the front of her railing was a large hula hoop (multicolored one) and she hot glued flip flops all around so instead of a wagon wheel she had a hula wheel. She took little white lights and weaved them around the straps and all over so it lit up at night. Art on a dime. I was the only one in the family that loved the women's decor but I think out of the box and I like being different. I love all tour designs. My favorite 2 ate thr nautical ones to look like a fan saying USA. My #1 favorite is the coaster. I have made many fabric coasters with ways to attach the base of a wine glass. I absolutely love your ideas. Your so very talented. My dad put himself thru college and his masters program painting houses in the 50s and 60s. In the 70s at the community college in Calif my mom taught toll painting to adult ed. My brother and sister have art degrees and my brother is the only one who has kept up his art work. I have a degree in business admin but I bead, sew, craft, refinish furniture. I am always busy. For my porch wall I still have some space left and have been trying to figure out what to put there. I am now thinking of a flip flop wreath. I need to google and see how you attach things to brick. Have a great week!

Really cute ideas! I have thought about doing the double layer flip flop for years! Years ago I had sandals that looked like layered flip flops but was more of a slide with a wide elastic strap across the toes. I'm not a fan of anything between my toes. I even thought of putting together several of them in rainbow colors. I also thought if replacing the toe piece with ribbon. The glue would have to be really strong to keep the layers together though.

Never would have thought using Flip Flops for DYI's.. Have to say I really liked the Popsicle's idea along with the handy coaster that you had made. If you use the left overs for stamps could you use them as not painted & use the paint on the plate to dip them in? Just a thought as you might get better coverage. I live in Las Vegas and have a double gate to my pool area. You have inspired me to design two wreaths for my double gate. Thinking I use pool noodle for the base and add flip flops, squirt gun and a sign.🧏‍♀️
