The biggest Dollar Tree bill I've ever spent, was $600. Yes, that was in one transaction. I even surprised myself that time. Lol. In my defense.... I was 18 years old and I had just got my own apartment. I was poor and I didn't have convenient transportation so I had to stock up at once and make everything last for a really long time and that was over two decades ago...so, ya know,... It's pretty much reasonable for anyone that would be in that same situation!?!? Lol. Needless to say, my apartment looked like a mini store. Lol. Here's a tip: NEVER buy an all aluminum cooking pan from the Dollar Tree. Just don't do it. Don't ask; but just don't do it.

I racked up $80 buying holiday items for my diy projects. I created a Christmas wonderland for our daughter since she was so isolated during 2020. I’m a regular DT shopper and on average spend about $40 a week. I’m saving so much money!

My largest ever dollar tree purchase was $310! It was right when crafters square first rolled out. My husband came with me for the hr drive to our flagship store. I filled 2 carts! I’ve used almost everything from that haul except a few rub-ons, and a few wooden star ornaments. No regrets!

I just went into one and recorded how messy, everything was on the floor and some shelves empty. I wish I can see a dollar tree like that, full to the max and very clean. The one I went to, looked like a 🌪 tornado🌪 came and hit it. Very sad and poor management, but manly is because the people don't know how to control their kids and they go around braking, throwing stuff around. The people itself; don't put things back, where they got it from. They leave frozen stuff in the aisle; spoiling the product, but since they didn't pay for it, they dont care. The only good thing is, God is watching and they will get theres, sooner or later.

Is if it wasn't hard enough to find things in the past because yeah my store is one of the last ones to get anything in there that everybody else was talking about and when they do get it it's sold out quickly but, now they're flipping the dang store, so you know nothing will be stocked until they're done.😡

@@KCCAT5 not only that, but now they decided to go on the websites and the stores to buy everything and sell it on eBay for a ridiculous price. I understand if you want to go and buy the brand name things that sells on Amazon and other retailers to make some bucks. But to actually take the crafter squares and specifically dollar tree items that don't sell in other stores to flip them, to make a buck or two and making people pay more then a dollar, is dead as wrong and deceitful. Every one need to make everyone aware to stay away from eBay and not to buy any dollar tree items that sells out of the dollar tree stores. I also don't see nothing wrong with selling things to others that can't get the items becuase all the dollar tree don't have the same things, but they should only sell it for an extra buck and shipping, not over price things and PLEASE LEAVE THE STORES ALONE. LEAVE THINGS FOR OTHERS TO BUY. CLEAN YOUR MESS AND TRY TO HELP OUT. I'm always helping out the girls at the dollar tree, they be trying to offer me a job becuase they see, that I'm very organize and clean. But it's truly a shame, what people have made the dollar tree out of.

Ya need to call corporate office and complain about each and every store. So they can do something about it. I just called them on dollar tree in my area because I got tired of seeing a tornado passing by and taking it all and leaving a huge mess.

Last year I went to Dollar Tree to purchase Hygiene items for our Back to School event at our church.. I went multiple times and the most I spent at one time was $200+... that was 2 carts full of Shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, body spray, combs, brushes, ponytail holders, toothpaste and MORE.. it saved us a TON of money and let a lot more kids be able to receive a bag of goodies..

Favorite buy are the cards!!! 2 for a dollar! When you flip them over they’re usually around 3-4 dollars originally. Books too! Get a 40 dollar book for 1 dollar! They don’t get enough love. The books look beautiful wrapped in lining paper or wall paper and used for decor!!!!

OMG I LOVE your dollar tree. Its so organized and well stocked. My favorite things to shop for at dollar tree are cleaning supplies, cards, craft supplies, florals, gift bags, party supplies, balloons, and organizing baskets. The most I've spent at one time is about $60 but I shop at dollar tree at least twice a week.

I've been working from home since March 2020, but prior to I would always buy DT wood items to craft for office gifts, and I would make the same thing for family/friends. At one of the Dollar Trees near me (I have about 6 within a 20 minute ride of my home), I was able to buy just the toilet plunger handle, which was perfect! My favorite items are: party supplies, seasonal décor, cooking utensils, baskets, bins, labels, hair brushes, hair ties, mascara, bowl covers, gloves. If you need some of the extra big zip bags, they have them in the laundry section that even have a handle. Speaking of hubbies, I notice mine was taken my measuring cups, spoons, and stirring spoons for projects he's been working on. I went to DT and got him his own set.

Lime away toilet cleaner is awesome for getting stains out of your toilet. Turn water off under the toilet and drain the water as best as you can, by holding the handle down. squirt in the bowl and let sit for 30 minutes to 1 hour and lightly scrub w/brush. I love the crafts and the glassware . We just recently got the Crafter's square section and we still don't have everything I have been seeing online. I am Central Alabama, we have a small store. We also finally got the conveyer belt register (don't know what its called) . The roller thing that takes your items to the cashier. lol I have seen online that Dollar Tree has vinyl for cricut machines now. I have not seen it or the tools to go with it at my store. :( I love Dollar Tree wish we had a huge store!! Happy Crafting!

Wow! Your Dollar Tree is amazing! I peruse four stores in SoCal...all in various states of clutter and dishevelment. I buy all the blue tarps I can for every possible use. Sturdy enough to reuse. I get the individual Tylenol packs and antibacterial wipes for emergency use. Also, gift bags, ribbon, plastic baskets. Plastic planters last a long time...even in the sun. Name brand toothbrushes are so great. Thank for the hot tip about the glasses!!!!

Agree with so many on here about that Dollar Tree, it's pretty amazing. I'm on the central coast of California and ours are dirty, unorganized(except in small areas), with tons of boxes stacked in isles and carts to be put out. People say to go to Dollar Tree the day or two after their delivery truck arrives. But ours still don't have things fully unboxed from that days deliveries until at least a week later and not all at once so you miss out sometimes.

It wasn’t my biggest haul at DT. But we bought a service fo 12 four piece dish set. Our second set. When DT came out with the white set with the hobnail around the rim I couldn’t resist. We gave our original set to our daughter. I can’t believe how theses dishes hold up. We paid $48 for a service for 12. If it was a name brand that would only have been a service for 4. Love DT

Sometimes, though, single use products are the only feasible way to do something, unfortunately. She did mention using the spoons until they were worn out, so that's a plus!

No she didn't. Listen to it again. She said you can use them to "stir, apply things to your crafts, cut clay, and then toss them away when you're finished." That's not reusing them. I reuse and wash the same craft knife over and over and over again. I throw very, very little in the trash. Landfills... too many wasteful people. 🥺♻️🌎

My biggest was last week for $158. I have not been into a dollar tree in many many many months! None of my bill was for food however I did get a couple jugs of their water to try for the first time! I did however get a bunch of their cards! They have some of the most beautiful cardsAnd to think they are only a dollar! Which is great because then I could buy cards for all my female friends! Inspirational card to go to people that may be suffering or having a bad day or even a bad week! There’s Mother’s Day coming up and yes I got cards to go to several moms that I know and grandmothers that I know! Plus memorial day is coming up so I was able to get tons of flowers to put on the graves ! My mom‘s herself I usually spend about 5060 bucks just on hers from Walmart or Michael’s because I buy the foam and everything and then I have to cut it and I do it into a big arched dome that fits inside of her ceramic urn that I take home and paint and repair and then I cut and arrange all the flowers just the way that I like and make it very special for her! Get it done at the dollar tree I was able to get 20 bundles and the foam there so I spent a lot less and was able to get more variety use the flowers to do arrangements for her grave and then have flowers to go on other graves as well. They also have the most adorable metal pots right now with let’s wind goes around the top and they look like hammered metal parts I got several of both sizes that they have so that I could get some real plants and some dirt and make up a little flower pots to give to other moms. He also but a bunch of batteries and some of those LED lights to go in closet and I got the Chalk board tags several different packages of them and some pens and pencils and phone covers that go on the top for the screen protector just things like that since I haven’t been to the dollar tree in forever I also picked up some odd and end stuff to put in little baskets to give to friends and moms just to make up for somebody if they are having a bad day so that I can just try to brighten their day a little bit cell all in all even though it was $150 it was a great a great trip. And a lot of the shelves were empty . They haven’t been able to get a truck in for the last few months like they normally do and a lot of things they haven’t been able to get so I can’t even imagine how much I would’ve spent if they had their normal stocked shelves. I will be making a trip back again this week and see if they have some new arrivals. Thank you for all the inspiration! This empty-nesters sure appreciates it! You

Thank you for sharing Shannon! 😊 The most I have spent in one DT is $130.00!! 🤑 Shhhhhhh... don’t tell my hubby! LOL!! They just have good stuff and it’s only $1. That’s how I justify my trips to DT. Haha! I love their signs, any of the wood items and their jars/glassware.

I am kinda ashamed to say my largest dollar tree trip was just shy of $200. But....as Shannon said you would pay so much more elsewhere. Most of my purchase that day was stuff for a baby shower: decorations, tablescape, diaper cake accesories, etc and a lot of diy materials. A few things qere for my craft room stash and, not gonna lie, I was doing hungry shopping so there were some snacks involved as well. 😁 I told my husband he knows better than to let me out of the house with a card, its dangerous for his wallet. Lol. Seriously though there are so many great things at Dollar Tree, you just have to keep your eyes and mind open. Thank you for sharing some amazing finds at your store.💗

Party supplies will rack that bill up so quick!! My big haul included birthday supplies too. But cheaper than the party supply store 🤷🏼‍♀️ I am also guilty of hungry shopping there 😆

My biggest shopping day at DT was $282. Now, I was buying supplies for craft classes I was doing at the time. I happened upon a store that had a ton of stuff the other ones didn’t carry. Plus I had 2 other friends I was buying stuff for. But it was fun! 😁😁

Wow! I've never seen any of the Dollar Trees here that well stocked & I have at least 10 stores to go to within a half hour drive. I discovered Lysol toilet cleaner there. I needed some & that was all they had on that particular day. It's the best product I have ever tried. Now I can't find it. I rarely get out of there without at least a few florals. I agree with everything you listed. I'd say close to $80 was my biggest haul & I can't imagine what I would have paid elsewhere.
