This display thing really looks like an antenna to me. Just use 2 of the paper towel holders and you could be making a small wire shelf or cooling rack.

If you had put a full size clothes pin on the end of the thing holding the hats…well, maybe it would work but as soon as you move the closet door, the hats will fly off. They were already sliding.

You can see the hats sliding off the paper towel holder. Why not just use the hooks like they’re supposed to be used and hang them on those?
