if anyone needs an easy way to remember which is port and which is starboard: If you are facing the front (bow) of the boat, port is on the left (just remember PORT has 4 letters just like the 4 letters in LEFT). As long as you remember what port is, then obviously starboard is the opposite (just in case; RIGHT has 5 letters just like the 5 letters in BOARD from starBOARD..And BOW is front, STERN is the back ...the more you know...

I have to do a presentation about leadership in workplace and I'm really tempted to use this video because at first you see Lawrence and how he starts a fight within his team and lose miserably and then you see Bruce briefing the team about what is going to happen and give orders and lots of encouragement when they succeed. Great job Bruce, you could a pretty good manager.

A fun and easy way to remember the names of the different sides of a ship: Port- it's to your left if you're facing the front of the ship, it also has four letters in it, just like the word 'left' does. Starboard: The right side of the ship if you're facing the bow, opposite the port(or left) side of the ship. Bow: The part at the front of the ship, the part cutting the water. Stern: the rear section (or aft) of a ship. the part which has the rudder at the bottom of it.
