I can confirm the white books are 'setting' books. There are several settings included as well.

Perfect, thank you. I really enjoy learning new books and systems especially when there’s so much in these books. Needless to say, I’ve purchased them all so expect reviews and page turns on them

@@Dungeonsanddyslexia Previously I ran Fate system games for about 10 years and was looking to learn a new system and upgrade. I've fallen head I've heals for Cypher system.

@@JohnMiller-te4ov I’ve never played Fate as I’m not a fan of weird dice but then I’ve fallen for the FFG Star Wars and funny die 😂 like you, I’m really enjoying reading the cypher books and the art is bloody amazing

Planebreaker, the Weird and Rust & Redemption. If I had only waited about 30 days... Still worth it for some of the other titles.

Agreed. It’s an absolute bargain and so much content

Predation seems the ideal setting to run something along the lines of 2000 AD's *Flesh!* or Fox's *Terra Nova* in.
@Dungeonsanddyslexia5 ай бұрын
That was it, Terra Nova. That was the series I was thinking and exactly why it’s the book I wanted to pick up (Terrible tv series though)

@@Dungeonsanddyslexia Years ago, back in the dim and distant '80s, I ran a Classic Traveller adventure where the player characters went down onto a Interdicted world (because it was, essentially, a Death World with lethally malevolent flora and fauna - which were much like dinosaurs and giant insect life) to retrieve an Imperial Navy McGuffin from a crashed vessel. A local Marquis with ownership of a corporation into food production and natural resource development had set up a number of covert on-planet operations to farm, harvest, and mine the planet using very dubious management practices. Of course, they didn't take kindly to the PCs presence and subsequent interference in their activities - plus they realised the McGuffin would be good for them to acquire too. Think of it a bit like a mashup between 2000 AD Flesh!, Escape from New York, Outland, and Aldiss' Hothouse. The Traveller 2d6 rules worked fine for it albeit lacking the mechanical crunch for the dinos - so to speak.

That sounds amazing. I love reliving old campaigns we ran especially those that resonate both we us as a DM but with the players too. I’ve recently bought traveller so it’s something issue I need to get on the table.

@@Dungeonsanddyslexia Well not sure that Monte Cook will be there himself, but the lovely Kate who organises the UK presence will be.
