On the Netflix series "Grace and Frankie," Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin play two feisty octogenarians who see old age not as a death sentence, but as a victory lap. The two old friends talk with correspondent Tracy Smith about aging, working together, and how Fonda, who raised millions as an exercise entrepreneur, gave most of it away.

Blessings of unmistakable grace to the fallen human race. And to those who know repentence, is a continuous walk in the steps of the only Saviour! Whose impeccable behaviour to the cross is our gain! Justified by faith is by indescribable grace! Jesus Christ is my boast otherwise I wouldn't be here now! Sacred cow? Bless the Hindu, the Buddhist, the Moslem, the Sikh, the Zoarastrian, the Novocastrian, Scouser, Brummie, Cockney, Janner, Mancunian, the Scot and David Livingstone he was not unknown before the Throne of God! Jane Fonda deserves the Kennedy center honor this year. She defied the establishment and became one of the few actresses that had portrayed three dimensional female characters back in the 60s and 70s, which was rare in Hollywood back in the day. She would make history as the first child of a previous Kennedy Center Honoree, her late Father Henry Fonda, to receive one as well. Her roles have been personally uncompromising in its depth and quality. Despite having a legendary actor for a dad, she managed to be successful in her own right and have longevity in this cutthroat business and influence actresses who came after her.

No doubt about it Adam on seeing Eve said, 'Wow!' I love hilarity. I look at the folk Jesus saved absolutely from gross lawlessness and tresspasses. Sex n drugs n rock n roll - popular mantra is Fantasy Island. Now older any likeness to a honest Christian. Grace -Great Riches At Christ's Expense!
@EM2theBee
@EM2theBee 2 жыл бұрын
@@peterdickinson7842 so Adam and Eve had two sons, Cain and Abel. They both made sacrifices to God, but God only liked Abel. Cain killed Abel. God's punishment to Cain was to cast him out as a wanderer. Cain ended up in Nod, where he married Enoch and built a city and populated the land. If Adam and Eve were the first two people on earth who was Enoch? Also, where are the people who Jesus saved from gross lawlessness? He saved the sinner, healed the sick and ministered to the poor. Nowhere in the New Testament does Jesus save anyone you're describing.

So what about the priests the clerics who came to faith in Jesus post resurrection. Book of Acts by St Luke And even now still ongoing today! Saul who became St Paul?

@@peterdickinson7842 what about it? Considering the New Testament was written around 400 CE, I don't really trust the accounts. Interestingly you jumped to the New Testament without commenting on my reply to your post. I don't think the Bible is anything more than some cobbled together fairy tales edited by the Catholic church in the age when we were ruled by a theocracy. The protestant Church didn't happen until the reign of Henry the Vlll so you're reading a Catholic version of the books.
@peterdickinson7842

Thanks for interesting view. For it's our own speculation until the Revelation that Christ Himself Has all the wealth of knowledge that's been accrued. The Holy Scriptures have been lottsa folks permanent fixture in their life Martin Luther who as a young man was sent to study something else. But as a priest was fasting often confessing sins But had no peace of assurance. You can speculate and deny the effect the Reformation had. But I'm extremely glad his tenacity resulted in many folk capacity to leave the Church of Rome. The Catholic System had are lot to answer to. Maybe you read some of Luther's quotes? He couldn't and wouldn't deny before all the clerical authority Who has set him free! The Holy Spirit used this guy to awaken many folk to the smoke and mirrors of Roman Catholic doçtrines. In the early church St Paul wrote a good deal of the New Testament letters(Epistles) and he had no axe to grind. After he was blinded by Jesus for 3 days and Ananias obeyed the Spirit's prompting to lay hands on him. What a turn around! How would you imagine the News channels reported the Death of a successful writer who wrote a series On a Rockstar / Vampire She married an atheist in 1960,s When she was well known She figured How come Jesus Christ is attacked in print by so many who think they have more insight than anyone? She studied for herself the sacred historical texts and once more returned to Him she had spurned for (her choice) worldly success. She wrote very good book on Jesus before He started His ministry It includes the wedding at Cana. The News channel I heard reported how much money she had made $150,000,000? Salvation is by grace through faith this not of yourselves so that no one may boast. Human pride is ultimately toxic, if you just tick boxes. Here in U K traffic the sign at a junction Says Do not enter this box unless your exit is clear! One out of every one person dies! How do you twist that statistic? Mediums Psychics are fooled by Satan's lies. That's no surprise. I would be glad that they pray Please Don't Pass ME by, before I die that fate worse than death Requires you gotta respect the text!

@@gizmo8361 you're one honest person . Jane looks quite different ... she does not really look like Jane Fonda ... and those cheek implants ... all anybody has to do is look at some photos of her from several years back ... personally I'd rather see somebody looking a little bit older and look like the person I'm used to seeing instead of them morphing into a different face but looking young ... a lot of these women are all starting to look alike her face is very similar to Jada Pinkett Smith now ... and what Faye Dunaway now looks like last time I looked . Sad thing is Jane wasnt honest about it when she pointed to her neck and said the only thing that's me is from here up . I have more respect for people like Joan Rivers who just come out and admit that they have work done on their face ... and as for the viewers I'm starting to think a lot of them need glasses if they can't admit when some of these people like Jane Fonda look quite different .

I love these ladies so much! I am in my late 50's, at a time when some people think they are "getting old" and others, like Jane and Lily, are looking for new projects. That's how I want to be :)
